How did the O-Line look last night

They looked bad, they cannot run the ball. I turned off the game halfway through the first drive. Same ole stuff.
Yeah, you had a hissy fit and said you were done and would be gone until next week, but you lied; you were back in the thread an hour later.

And Gaskin had 6.8 per.

I don't think we got a ton of push from the offensive line but at the same time we didn't get knocked on our asses. Overall line play was better in pass pro then run block. There were no signs of a turnstile all night which I know the bar is low but it was relief to not see that. Our QB wasn't running for his life all night.

Have to keep in mind all things were vanilla on both sides of the ball last night for both teams.

Yeah I'm not really worried about how the backup line plays at this point. I care how the starters play as a unit.

Yes and no for me.

Yes, the play of the backups don't really matter, but the new system does. New system is based on running the ball and that aspect of play did not look good.

The way I see it:

You can't evaluate a system without the pieces to run it. We already know we don't have stellar depth on the line. It's going to be worse when your starting WR aren't playing and you aren't really game planning three way you do regular season.

We can say 3/5 of the line played, but that's minus the one player who makes the largest impact so eh.
