I was just reading a post by someone who referenced our lone win last year. Considering how dominating Baltimore was yesterday, how the heck did we beat them last year? Were Lewis, Reed and Suggs even playing? I honestly can't remember. All I DO remember about the game was Camarillo splitting the zone.:D

They had everyone the same except Mcclain Ray Rice and Joe Flacco.

Everyone on defense were the same.

I think it was Lemon who had a career day against them. He was like 21-25 for 320 yards 1 TD 0 picks.

If anyone who is suited to play the Ravens D, it would be someone in Lemons Mold. He is athletic enough to get away from the blitz and has a strong enough arm to make all the throws and fit them into tight spaces. The thing he lacks is the mental and making reads. Which I think he didn't do that game, just made the 1-2 read and fired it away, unlike Penny who has 5-6 reads per play and goes through them.

Actually no we had several key players who got injured early in that game.

Ray went down in the third quarter I believe.

Boller had a concussion and had to be sidelined.

I think a couple other players had to sit out at points in that game and Matt Stover missed a game winning FG that would've given us the win. After that Camarillo just made a really good play.

It's unbelievable...they almost didn't even need their offense yesterday!

I think you're right...Lemon probably did have a career day. I'm thinking the Ravens were probably pretty flat in last year's game since they were having a lousy season as well. Still hard to fathom though...especially since Reed was back their lurking last year too.

I don't think Ed Reed played the whole game... Our secondary was pretty banged up in 2007.... Rolle, Reed and McAlister were injured throughout the season.

Troy Smith went in at the end of the game, and Lemon was tearing up your defense the whole game, even with Ray Ray in.

Oh my god whatever, make all the excuses about why the ravens lost a ****** year ago go away troll. :shakeno:

Baltimore was decimated with injuries last year, that led to their 5-11 season.

However, the season before when they were healthy (in 2006), the Ravens had a record of 13-3 and the #1 seed in the AFC heading into the playoffs. Mostly due to that great defense of theirs.

Now this year, they are healthy again. And we all saw how good they are when healthy

Your biggest drives happened in the fourth quarter, Ray went out in the third and you also have to think Camarillo's 64 yarder kind of skewed the stats. Not saying Cleo didn't perform well but they weren't really driving the ball on the Ravens. The Ravens made some mistakes with a banged up secondary. Lemon was pressured all game and the Phins gained just over 60 yards on the ground I believe. I'm not making excuses because 2007 was a horrible year esp compared to 2006.

Painful...that's all I can say. I knew the game was over after Teddy fumbled on the reverse. If we score there, it's a whole different game. Sucks!

Lol wow atleast most of the people on this board have an intelligent joke to throw at me....

All I really have to say is that if the 2007 win is your consolation for losing twice to us this year... including the game that mattered the most... I'll let you have it.

Heh. What are you doing? The guy's post was a direct response to the thread title. An injured Ed Reed is a pretty big deal. I've never seen anyone flip out like this at someone just because they stayed on topic.

Flacco has made that team right now and pushed them to another level. Add gnata and mcclain and rice to that mix and well, there you go.

If Flacco was to go down, they would return back to reality. The ravens have been wanting a qb for a long time. They finally got their guy. He is going to be a very good one for quite a long time if they can get another good wideout there and he stays healthy.

Oh yeah and Ed Reed is playing lights out right now and has been for awhile. He is putting up HOF type numbers....
