Old school! LOL How in the heck did us old guys do this Draft thing before all this ESPN "Mock Drafts" and forums to see who the Fins where drafting! I remember just reading in the Miami Herald the next day!

You young guys...as well as I...have it spoon fed to us everyday now. I was just sitting here thinking about that. I'm only 43....and I just have to laugh at what a fiasco this has become. Don't get me wrong...I love it! It's just funny. Old guys...chime in!

before the internet?

those words don't make sense when you put them together in that order. anyone else understand the strange tongues this guy is talking in??

They used to hold the draft on Tuesday if memory serves me right. When I was a kid I would read about it in the newspaper here. Then ESPN came along and it just became bigger and bigger.

Before the internet came along I used to get all my in depth Dolphin stuff from Dolphin Digest. It was always an exciting day when that thing hit the mailbox.

Nowadays everyone is indeed spoon fed the info.

Yeah I remember Dolphin Digest. Growing up in upstate New York I couldn't wait for that to hit the mailbox. I was so excited. I just got my news from the paper.

I used to get that....for a kid up in Jersey, it was absolutely AMAZING...a whole paper dedicated to the Dolphins?!?!? It was a foreign concept to me until I discovered DD.

Pretty much took Mel Kiper's word as gospel, and that was about it. That being said, thank goodness for the Internet!

Yeah I still have most of those papers believe it or not.

The other cool thing about the Dolphin Digest subscription was the Dolphins Media Guide that came out yearly. Those things were chock full of Dolphin info.

I still have all of those too.

I still love reading the newpaper, especially on Mondays after football

me too - i forget how much it was, but i used the order the draft digest through the dolphin digest - i think i still have 10 years of them!

Yup journalists were all we had. Newspapers and magazines. I remember when ESPN hit the airwaves and I thought it was a god send. Now I view them as satans spawn.

Thinking about it, forget the internet. How many armchair QB's did Madden football give birth to.
