How Different would that game had gone if TED GINN had played

They would have won. He's not a #1 receiver, but he's a good returner and good at any position at receiver other than the top guy. Heck, he's still better than anyone catching a ball for our team not named Marshall or Bush.

I don't think it's as easy as saying if Ginn played the outcome would've been different. The play where the ball grazed Williams's leg can happen to anyone. The fumble off the return? It's happened before.

Alex Smith had an interception in the Saints game that came right off of Ted Ginn's hands. It's almost deceptive, the number of ways that Ted Ginn can ruin your football team.

I think so too.

He cost them the game & he didn't even play.

I can't help but wonder how serious that knee injury really is. Maybe he really couldn't play but...

He had his chance to play for a superbowl and he sat out injured.

Hahahahaha no ****!!!! It didn't even dawn on me until you posted this, Tedd Ginn Jr. sucks so bad he cost them the game from the bench hahahahahaa

Do you understand the amount of suckage this takes lol.

:sidelol:

Ruin a football team huh? That's funny considering he was on a team that was one play away from being in the Superbowl. Teddy is probably laughing his a** off that we traded him to a winning organization while we continue to pick in the top 15 every year and I say good for him. No other player has had back to back returns for TDs in NFL History, Ginn has done it twice. I realize you really really wanted Quinn, but how many NFL records does he hold? :p

I never ever liked Ted Ginn as a #1 wide receiver that these idiots tried to make him into, but I also didn't agree with giving him away for a bag of practice balls like we did. The guy is a very solid return man and he definitely serves a purpose as an ocassional deep threat/end around guy etc. If you had him and Marshall on the field at the same time it would cause a lot of problems for defenses because they would have to respect Marshall's ability and Ginn's speed at the same time... It would have opened up a lot.

I highly agree. It showed last night in San Fran too. Ginn probably would've made a better decision and not kneed that first punt. He couldve been viable for a fumble though lol. But the defense was scared of no one other than Davis and it showed

We all know he wouldn't have fumbled...cuz he would've called the fair catch the second the ball was in the air

if Ginn wasnt injured the niners win the game its that simple.

Just thought I would throw it out there and see if anybody had any comments. Him NOT playing definitely had a direct result in the outcome. He didn't have a real good year for the niners, but he did take care of the ball..

It wouldn't have mattered. The only teams Ginn can burn are the Jets and the Dolphins.

19 catches for 220 yds and 0 TDs in 14 games to go with 2 special teams TDs. I'd say the 49ers got to where they did on their own with very little help from this guy you claim is laughing his *** off.

This should be moved to the general NFL discussion, it could get ugly.

Oh yeah, Ginn sucks donkey balls.

Got more out of ginn than we did with gates

Yeah Ted Ginn was such a clutch player here in Miami and he never ever turned the ball over or cost us a game with any big turnovers. :chuckle:
