It used to be that ya hadda be really good running the ball, and play great D. Pitt played great D but was 23rd in rushing. Zona was 19th in D and dead last in rushing.

Is "Smash Mouth" a thing of the past?
 
Play smart hard nose football. Don't make mistakes on the field. Avoid key injuries and getting a first round bye in the playoffs would really help. One less game to play.
 
Win enough games to get into the playoffs and then win all our playoff games.

One win at a time. Starting with them Falcons and 14 wins later we will be superbowl champs.

Smash mouth isn't necessarily about rushing for a million yards as it is to get the yards needed when the defense knows your running it. The threat of the run and using playaction is just as great then the actual yards gained on the ground. It frees up the Receivers to have more room to run routes and get open.
 
If we win the AFC championship I think we have a 90% chance of getting to the Superbowl.

To get to the super bowl we must either kidnap Tom Brady or the Steelers defensive unit
