How do we replace Brandon Marshall?

We have Roberto Wallace, Pruitt, and, Gates. The trade doesn't bother me. Marshall has dropped more balls and TD's in the last 2 seasons than he's worth.

Wallace, Pruit and Gates are ****ing scrubs!

im going to wait and see,but they must have something planned here.you dont make a move like that unless somethig big is about to happen.

i hope im right.

@ Zounds - I was going to say the same thing.

The upcoming draft could immediately fill the void and the Marshall trade will free up some more cap room to get other FA's. Keep in mind between the draft and FA there are a ton of WR's available. Besides all I remember hearing all season was how Marshall had a case of the dropsies on so many occasions.

Either that or you're just really, really dumb. With Jeff Ireland, that's almost a certainty.

We could field a 13-man offense with all of those guys in place of Marshall at the same time and it still wouldn't amount to half his production, when you factor in the drop machine that is Hartline on the other side.

You draft smart is how you replace him.

When the **** has this team ever done that?

How about we replace Marshall with Eric Winston, Reggie Nelson, and John Abraham.

If we bring Peyton in, we could have Wayne, Garcon, and Clark too. If not, this is a deep class of FA WRs.

Not to mention, we do have good picks in the draft this year.

Everyone be patient!

Marshall is great in what he does, but to say he isn't replaceable? The trade cleared a whopping 11 million plus.

We open up $10 Million in the cap. Dump a guy who dropped as many TDs as he caught. Get two 3rds for him (I hope it's the one they got from Carolina). It's a deep draft in WRs. The picks can be used to trade up. And he didn't want to be here anyway.

I'll take it.

Probably starting this year. Remember, this is a NEW coaching staff. And as I pointed out in the VIP forum, it has been reported that Philbin is a coach that likes to build through the draft.

In this case, it makes me feel a lot better that we have an experienced head coach who knows how to build a team through the draft.

Oh wait.
