Two step question:

Eye ball test- How do you watch a game? Live, home TV, Pub, replay, film, radio?

Post game- Coach presser, CBS show with Kimbo and Congemi, media grades (which one's?), PFF next day, etc.?

Usually home. Post game is obviously here but also using the newswire on phins.com.

My background is in scouting so I tend to rely on film more than PFF grades or just raw stats.

I have the Sunday ticket and game pass. So I watch the games like everybody else and then watch the coaches tape later in the week, usually multiple times.

I don't pay attention to most media grades.

I watch the game. After the game, I rewatch the game focusing on the trenches, the dropped passes, the running lanes, time in the pocket, and if the correct pass was thrown.

I enjoy reading the reviews here on this forum. Obviously, it is very toxic after a loss. Wish it could be more a critical analysis rather than the "sky is falling and release everyone". In the end, there are some good posters and good dialogue.

Finally, I will look at stats and dig into the league performances.

always watch at home on the sunday ticket.... watch coach press conf and come here to vent and get some wisdom.

i always evalutate players based on would i want to face them on another team and if the answer is i don't care if we play against him then i guess i have my answer.

but being able to scout a player before they make it to the nfl has got to be one of the hardest jobs in sports.

do you think it's easier to scout a baseball, football, basketball or hockey player

just a guess but i would say football is the hardest, followed by baseball, basketball and hockey being the easiest..

Watch: I go to any sportsbar or Restaurant that may have the games, used to go to Applebee's, now after moving, I go to TGI Fridays near me. There used to be this amazing sports bar I used to go to, amazing fans for most teams, huge Dolphins representation, but they closed.

Post game: On YouTube, there are a few places I like to go and watch the feeling on how the fan base felt as far as our game.

I watch the game on the couch and as far as stats go there is only one that is most important... Points for and points against... if its in the fins favor I be happy and If not I be mad... Either way I come on here to leave a witty comment or two...

I used to go to most games but over the past 5 years or so friends and I just pick one or two. The home experience has just gotten so much better. I have a 50" and bring out the 42" from the BR for a second game with the lap top going for fantasy. We bet and try to get our money's worth. lol

Start with brunch at 10 like eggs over green rice with fresh pico de gallo. bloody Mary's and Irish coffee for the 11 AM coaches show and pre game shows and reports. Then it's 12:30 to get bets and fantasy starters in order, get more great food ready, grab a 2nd beer and set to blast off and NFL 'till midnight and tons of beer.

Next day is evaluation and to see all I missed. I rewatch the OL (doing it for 10 years) and a second time for all else. I watch the taped local CBS post game with Kimbo, look at evaluations, mostly PFF elite, to see what I disagree with and am then ready to talk about the game.

Tuff job but somebody gotta do it. LOL
