I agree, too much sweet talk and it just doesnt work.

I would give him a 3 out of 10, if theres one thing we should have by now, is attitude, and to think we can win, maybe not wins, but we should at least think we can. and clearly he hasnt even done that!

Thats so much BS.. If your boss started screaming and yelling at you infront of everyone what would you do? Do you see belicheck doing that?

i could understand more if this was a team completely built by Saban... but it's not... He inherited players that don't fit his system.

The reality is there are alot of people here that had an unrealistic vision of this team.. I thought wed be .500 at seasons end.... Maybe now 6-10.

I keep saying this over and over again.. What was Shulas record in his first season?

He got us a PB RB. He got us a LB. He got us an OL coach. He got us a cornerback. He got us some Vets to take the shots until the young ones are ready to take over. He will get us more. It will come, only the fans will still be sitting at home, with all those orange seats still highly visible on the TV screen.

I'm sick and tired of people criticizing Saban. This isn't his team- it's still Wannschmuck's team. And anyone who thought we were going to the SB this year had to be delusional. I'm sick of the instant gratification garbage from a majority of the spoiled fans on this site. Give the guy time to build HIS team HIS way with HIS players. If we continue to fail after that, criticze away, because I know I will. But not until then.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Fins went 10-4 in Shula's first season.

Yeah ur right but Saban isnt Shula now is he. Saban was brought in to replace wanny and rebuild a great Franchise, not coach use to the playoffs right away Miami still has 1 or 2 more years b4 they start become what they used to be. Still Missing Defesinve Secondary and QB

I think you're wrong.I think they made the playoffs in his 3rd year(2nd at the earliest) and went to the superbowl in his 4 season with the team and then after losing that one he won the next 2.At 10 and 4 he'd have made the playoffs and I don't think he did.

1970 Miami Dolphins

Record: 10 - 4 - 0

Head Coach: Don Shula Points scored: 297 (#11 of 26 in the NFL)
Points allowed: 228 (#5 of 26 in the NFL)

The amazing thing is, I first answered from memory, but since it was questioned I looked it up.

For sure.
I still have a hard time with him LETTING PLAYERS decide the punishment for too many penalties. That really go tmy brow to go up. There is no fear in Miami and he is suppose to be the tough guy? I also don't like him saying some penalties are OK.

Most of his moves appear to be good. I did not get the Lemon deal at all.

Everyone gets the Lemon trade, look at what he makes then look at what Feeley makes. Greatest thing Saban did was trade that bum.
