Six weeks into the season we are tied for the 3th best record in the NFL, and tied for the second best record in the AFC, only one game behind the AFC leading KC Chiefs. We're tied with the Patriots for the division lead, one game ahead of the resurgent Jets and two games ahead of the Bills.

Logjam jockeying for playoff positions:
We're tied with the Bengals, Ravens and Chargers, ahead of the Steelers, Jaguars, Titans and Texans among others.

Protecting our home field:
With the renovations complete, Miami is 3-0 in our own stadium, and 1-2 away from home.

Win in the division:
So far we are 1-1 in the division but we have played 2 of 3 divisional away games, which bodes well.

Maybe we shouldn't have lost to the Bengals, or maybe we shouldn't have beaten the Bears or Raiders, but however you slice it, we're 4-2.

What do you think about our record so far? How does it set us up for the rest of the year? Can we maintain this pace with our current injury situation?

I said we could still win this division. I have yet to be proven wrong...

4-2, 3-0 at home for the first time in 16 years is great place to be. I know many predicted doom and gloom for this team but right now they look like they will be in the playoff mix. Getting the starting QB back is essential, Osweilerhad a career day and they still needed a missed FG to stay alive.

I'll take starting 4-2 every year no matter how to get there. Just need to be 6-4 the rest of the season to get to 10-6 and shot at the playoffs.

Maybe one year it translates into a miraculous 12-4 record, playoff bye, and some easy road to the Super Bowl.

To answer your question, going 6-4 the rest of the way given our injury situation seems doable to me.

Frankly I think we're due to come back to Earth. I don't think we are awful, but I don't think we are in the top 30% of the league either.

Credit to this team though. Beating the Bears coming off a bye when they seemingly match up to destroy us is a feather in their cap.

Cant wait for the bye week so Gase and co get some time to evaluate what works or doesnt.
