I used to take it to heart so bad....damn...it was sad to see me during the week after a loss.

Now though the only sad thing is I almost expect it.

So, although I dont like it and am not used to it...I cant say I get as angry or depressed anymore...slightly immune to it.

So its a combo between not so angry anymore and immune and the beer one where I tell people to STFU.

It's just a game. I don't lose sleep over things I have zero control over. Hell, when I've seen the Phins in Baltimore I always have a great time tailgating with the Ravens fans. If the Phins win that's great, but I'm just there to enjoy the game & the day.

Disapointed... Used to be angry and loud but not anymore... Now I'm just disapointed(especially because I keep telling everyone around here we've got a shot), I live in MTL and everybody is a Pats or Jets fan around here, so I completely shut down any outside contact really... I'll feel this way till thursday and then act like I want us to lose so we can land luck... But I'm not fooling anyone but myself because I cant wait till tomorrow to watch the game... Its sad really....

I used to get really mad...it ruined my Sundays...but now I just am used to it and if the Phins don't seem to care, why should I? The FO has done little to get the fans fired up about this team. We never go after a franchise QB, and our offense has become plain vanilla. Maybe someday things will get better, but until then I don't let it get to me.

Nice to see the I used to get now but I'm immune with over half...

I honestly don't care about the team if it loses...

I used to be so pissed and it would negatively affect my Mondays...

But after the decade of garbage play...Who cares...

I used to avoid all news at least for a few days after a loss. This was like 10 years ago. Now I just laugh at all the lowlights after the game and that mumbling idiot buffoon making excuses for the loss. Unless you're a mega homer, none of these losses are really shocking, although I Thought we had a shot in the Browns game. It's really hard to get mad when you go in expecting to see them lose, like I expect them to lose to SD tomorrow. It's a bummer the rookie Daniel Thomas is out, I at least enjoyed watching him last week.

I used to take it really really seriously and be pretty despondent after a loss, especially after a really tough loss.

Now, if it's early season, I get pretty pissed, but if it's clear we're out of it, I just shrug it off.

This is how I used to feel when we were relevant. Losses used to ruin not my day, but the entire week. Now im more pissed that Sparano, Ireland, and Ross have forced me to root against them winning in order to give all us fans new hope for a better future. d***heads!
Feel just god-awful.. have trouble falling asleep and if I sleep through the night, wake up with the loss as the first thing on my mind... setting the depressive mood for the day.

If the loss was one we shouldn't have suffered (e.g. a team we should have beat or any game we were in til almost the end) I quarantine myself from any local or network radio/tv sports shows for several days until I'm reasonably sure I'm not gonna see a recap often physically upsetting my psyche. Ditto FH in a lot of instances. I might come back Tuesday or Wednesday after most of the flack, recriminations and "I told you so's" have worn themselves out and morphed into constructive criticism.

On the other hand, I expected us to lose to the Pats, did avoid electronic media for a few days but was here on FH soon after. Although the odds are we will lose to the jest this season, that would be an exception where the concept is so reprehensible that I will likely sequester myself for a couple of days. Conversely though, if we were to pull an upset, I'd be eating it up everywhere I can including monitoring the agony it results in on the 2 major jest forums.

*I haven't voted since the option of :"It effects me beyond how it reasonably should for some time afterwards" wasn't an option.

its sad, because i used to get extremly worked up over losses, like i couldnt smile the rest of that day for sure, and prob until like wed, but now i get pissed but i seem a lot more content for some reason.

i guess people can say that its not good for your health to get so worked up over a sport game, but its something i have a strong passion for, so i guess its just being numbed to seeing every single possible way imaginable to lose a game, we have .

Bro if the owner doesn't get worked up or care why should we?

your right, im not saying you should.

But also, the difference between the owner and us is that, 1. the owner is worth billions, and im sure as long as he is putting money in his pocket each week, he wont get worked up over a win or loss.

obviously he would rather us win, because us winning = more ticket sales, = more money, etc, but at the end of the day, a guy like ross prob does not have the same passion as us fans who have lived and died with this team every sunday for years have, and as long as he is making his money, hes fine win or lose.

well......hootie did say it best......the dolphins make me cry.
