How do you feel after a dolphins loss?

When the dolphins lose how do you feel?

Like most have already said. I would be super pissed and just be angry for a couple of days. Now though with the way we play and are coached its comical. Its sad to laugh at a team you love so much.

I used to be depressed. I now treat it as reason for hope and change. We are a very dysfunctional team from top to Marshall. We sabotage every player we draft except for FAs we overpay. Henne deserves a purple heart given our OL

I find myself mad during the game because of so many missed chances, knowing we are going to blow them too, for years. I know we are bad in the redzone but pay attention to the 50 and the opponents 40 or so yard line. Thats where most of it goes bad. I think we are actually pretty good at moving from our own 17 to the opponent 45 with a 1st and 10. Then it goes to hell. Its always a penalty, a sack, or a loss. Something negative happens between the 50 and opponent 40 more often than its positive. I'd say the opposite from our own 20 to the 50.

So I'm mad during the game. But when its over I laugh and say whatever these days. I want to try to explain to enemy fans or even our own that we aren't that bad, but we make stupid decisions and often shoot ourselves in the foot, but its impossible to argue with someone who is just mad and hates everyone. So I became immune, but still get irked during the game.

In response to that. Its amazing how we literally ruin nearly every good player we bring in. I don't understand that because its been a multitude of a regimes that have done the same. Rarely that "guy" plays to his potential or prior form. And the guys who leave here, always make noise elsewhere.

Totally true but it's still a shame b/c when your team wins, the high you feel is the best it gets. Despite us having nothing to do with how a team performs, the proudness and achievement you feel as a fan is irreplaceable.

Well said.

Back in the day it'd really get to me.....my whole week would suck. Now I know is just a game and even tho I get just as upset during the game when we're down, after the game is over I think to myself how bless I am to have a wonderful wife and family and to have God in my life. The way I see it now, the Dolphins don't pay my bills. I'd love to see them win a superbowl of course as I am a big fan, but a football team is never going to be the most important thing to as it used to be back in the day.

Ozzy rules!!

Every loss makes me feel angry at how much money I've thrown away supporting this team. The blankets, cups, keychains, multiple decals and lanyards, hats, . . . Jersey's. Sigh, the worst part is catching flak from my family/friends who are also football fans of teams in our own ****ing division for ****s sake. My mother is a Bills fan and two of my friends are die hard Jets fans. Everytime the Dolphins lose I get 3 texts/voicemails of them ripping my team apart; these 3 weeks have sucked especially hard considering the Bills used to be right there with us at the bottom, now they are one of the best AFC teams this year (record wise).

It just sucks to be a dolphins fan yet again.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe Miami has too much to offer to these players for them to do that they don't concentrate on football as much as they should. Are they going out partying too much? Or are they just going to the beach too often?. Makes you wonder what goes on sometimes.

could be on to something there ..you got beaches, clubs, massage parlors
and nymphos where ever you turn especially if you got some loot to throw around
you will have a good time.

Genghis khan was in the prime of his life yet was never at his full strength
His DR. advised him to limit his sexual activity as this was sapping away his chi energy.
Genghis khan died at a young age with hundreds of children.

Asian culture is very serious about this
Samurais would train to have sex without climax
this actually maintained the chi while taking great power to resist..
this is how they managed to control many concubines...

This could be it in a nutshell..

Feel just god-awful.. have trouble falling asleep and if I sleep through the night, wake up with the loss as the first thing on my mind... setting the depressive mood for the day.

If the loss was one we shouldn't have suffered (e.g. a team we should have beat or any game we were in til almost the end) I quarantine myself from any local or network radio/tv sports shows for several days until I'm reasonably sure I'm not gonna see a recap often physically upsetting my psyche. Ditto FH in a lot of instances. I might come back Tuesday or Wednesday after most of the flack, recriminations and "I told you so's" have worn themselves out and morphed into constructive criticism.

On the other hand, I expected us to lose to the Pats, did avoid electronic media for a few days but was here on FH soon after. Although the odds are we will lose to the jest this season, that would be an exception where the concept is so reprehensible that I will likely sequester myself for a couple of days. Conversely though, if we were to pull an upset, I'd be eating it up everywhere I can including monitoring the agony it results in on the 2 major jest forums.

*I haven't voted since the option of :"It effects me beyond how it reasonably should for some time afterwards" wasn't an option.

Describes in 100% accuracy how i feel. Are you my long lost twin :-)

I am beginning to get use to it because it's happening so much, but don't get me wrong I don't like this feeling of Losing every Year. I remember when the PATS use to be feeling this.

The Dolphins use to make me and Hootie cry. After this many years of it I have look at it as the Dolphins failure and I can do nothing about it so it's just accepted. I am immune now.

If it weren't for playing fantasy football and having something where I can offset the misery it might be different though.
