How do you feel Sunday night if...

I will argue progress has been made. The team would have won two more games with a hard sked compared to last year. Also, I would be impressed they won a game they had to in a big spot.

I think the coaching staff, starting with the HC, leaves a ton to be desired. However, 9-7 was my prediction at the start of the year, so I cannot say I would be angry. I guess I would kick dust about the first Buffalo game, the TB flat start and close and the pissing of leads vs. NE and Carolina...btw, all four of those are on the coaching staff IMO.

This goes to show how irrational fans can be. Everybody and their mother had us as dogs playing in New England, where they rarely lose, and have the best head coach and one of the best QBs in football. What happened was we lost like we were supposed to,but here you are all in a huff because we had a chance to win. Uhh, isn't having a chance to win a good thing? At the very least it should be a push, you can blame him for blowing the game but you also have to give him credit for having the opportunity to blow the game.

Carolina: Again, we were a fairly big underdog. The Tannehill to Wallace connection was WIDE open for at least five TDs, that game could have been over before the half but its Philbins fault that Tannehill and Wallace can't hook up for WIDE open TDs. Even with that we STILL had the lead late in the game and was a 4th and 10 from winning--they made a play, **** happens. If people want to blame him for trying a 52 yard field goal or the way he used his timeouts, well, there are a lot of morons around here... Again, we lost a game we were supposed to lose--boo ****ing hoo

Buffalo: Our QB spots them a 17 point lead. The team held it together and responded by crushing them--hell of a job coach. Then disaster struck as our QB audibled from a run to a pass, is that Philbin's fault? Would you prefer he keep the training wheels on and coach through fear like a Tony Sparano? Whatever, live by the sword, die by the sword I say.

Tampa: I admit the team played like **** and was unprepared for this game, I even heard a quote from a player that this game resulted in the turnaround, they knew they played like **** and the choice was to give up or play their hearts out the rest of the way. To be fair though this game was played during the height of bully-gate, even I was losing sleep thinking about all of that ****, I can't imagine how the players felt. The extra time off and the primetime game didn't help either, it just gave them more to think about it.

Bullygate cost this team ONE game, if you want to blame Philbin for that thats fine, but I prefer to blame Ireland.

By this logic, none of the teams chasing the last wild card spot play meaningful games this week and how silly does that sound? The reason for this, of course, is that every single one of them need help in order to get in. Nobody chasing that last spot controls their own destiny and that is a strange situation for sure.

Because of that, this is a HUGE game. If we win we're still in that race. If we lose, we aren't.

I don't think you get the point I'm trying to make.Hayden said he would be impressed having won a "game the had to win in a big spot" and my response was last week was that game and they blew it. If we beat the jets AND still miss the playoffs then this game didn't mean anything.I mean we had our chance to not have to count on anyone and still blew it. I'll be happy if they make the playoffs and there has been some progress with some of our players but as a team, it's disapointing to see them lose games you feel they "should win" when playing some very bad teams. But if beating the jets is your super bowl then fine. I want a real super bowl.

since we don't know the outcome of the Baltimore and Kansas City games respectively when we play, the game is big.

Your only competitive in this modern league if you have a QB. We have a guy who despite a piss poor OL and RB's has taken a big step forward in his game. Color me excited for next year win or lose.

Accustomed to it at this point. Probably shrug, pour a glass of Talisker, and sit by the fire watching the Eagles crush the Cowboys.

I can't take another damned nailbiter. I hope we put this game away early and keep a foot on their necks.
