I gave us a B. I really really love our first three picks. Other then that I'm not entirely sure about the rest. We'll see though.

Pat White adds so much for our wildcat formation and he really is a great QB. Have you guys seen his numbers? He has a powerful arm and is accurate.

I wonder how the perception would be if he was white and stayed in the pocket. Everyone would be calling him the next great thing. The kid has 4 str8 bowl wins (record) and 10,000 all purpose yards (another record). This kid can make outstanding throws. I'm sure the perception that he is another black scrambling qb is hurting him, which is very sad.

A lot of people argue that we could have gotten him later...I'm positive he would not have lasted to our 3rd round choice and anyways Sean Smith is an outstanding 3rd pick.

I seriously think he can compete against Henne for the starting job (And I love Henne)

A+. To say anything different is to be a bad fan and one that would say anything other than A+_ really should go root for the Jets, or Patriots.

See, I'd get into this, but I'd probably get the post removed and get a warning from a mod for a personal attack, even though it wasn't directed at anyone specific.

There's a difference between being a mindless cheerleader and whining about every ******* thing that isn't perfect.

lol. Goon, I'm sure you were the other person who gave us a "B"

Ah. The wonders of the written communication. He was being sarcastic. I don't blame you though it is hard to detect sarcasm in the written language sometimes.

The pundits will say you can't rank a draft class until a couple of years down the road and quite frankly, they are right. In terms of excitement and interest I have to give this an A-.

I give it a B. I liked our first four picks and the rest of the guys we will just have to wait and see on. Definitely not the home run draft of 2008, but it has a chance to be a pretty good one.

I got the sarcasm. :)

It's more along the lines of a double standard. Posters are allowed to cajole, complain, and whine about anything and everything (and do)...but if anyone calls them on the carpet for being unecessesarily negative, two things happen...at least in my experience:

1) People post in droves, saying, "HEY, WHAT...WE CAN'T WANT A REALLY GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM? WE'RE TIRED OF LOSING! WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A DISSENTING OPINION? etc..."

2) The posts calling them on the carpet disappear or get moved to the depths. It's one of the things that has made me post a LOT less here as of late.

It's really ironic. Posters/mods go on about their "freedom to post negatively", yet the posts CRITICIZING those posts are apparently unacceptable.

Anyway...I don't want to derail this or get it moved. Sorry about that.

I like the whole draft imo. The front office knows whats up and they know far more then any clown on this server.

(For what it's worth, I could not be happier with Vontae Davis and Sean Smith. I really think those two are going to be the backbone of a monster pass defense for the next 5 years.)

being from texas im gonna guess you relly havent seen him play much. the wvu campus is within 45 min from me and ive seen a ton of his games.

so let me say this. if you took away his running threat he wouldnt have seen any playing time at wvu. his legs are what make him good. he will not when you any games with his arm. and the last time i heard a qbs main job is to throw the ball. when their running game was stuffed he fail apart. hes not a full time starter and if he can compete against henne then we better start looking for another future qb.
