How do you think the BCS games will play out?

I know we still have a few more weeks to go before the final results come out for the final BCS rankings, but this is how i think it will look when the regular season comes to a halt



National Title Game: Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan Wolverines

Comment: It looks like we are going to get a rematch for the national title. Ohio State will end the season No. 1 in the BCS and play in the BCS National Title. Michigan is currently ranked No. 2 and would have to fall without playing. That doesn't look like it will happen, so Michigan is our pick to face Ohio State... again. Ohio State won the national title in 2002, while Michigan won a split national title in 1997.

Sugar Bowl: Florida Gators vs. Notre Dame fightin' Irish

Comment: Florida is our pick to win the SEC title and earn an automatic berth to the Sugar Bowl. We feel the Rose Bowl will pass on Notre Dame because they don't want a USC/Notre Dame rematch, so the Irish land here as an at-large.



Orange Bowl: Louisville Cardinals vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Comment: In the ever-changing ACC, Georgia Tech is our favorite to win the conference and play in the Orange Bowl. Louisville will claim the Big East title and be the Orange Bowl's other selection.


Fiesta Bowl: Texas Longhorns vs. Boise State Bronco's....lmao

Comment: Despite losing to Kansas State last week, Texas will still win the Big 12 conference and land here. Boise State goes undefeated and grabs an automatic bid for being ranked in the Top 12 of the BCS.


Rose Bowl: West Virginia Mountaineers vs. Southern Cal. Trojans

Comment: Southern California is our pick to win the Pac-10, but not play for the national title. With the Rose Bowl's other selection, we feel they will take West Virginia. The Mountainers won't win the Big East, but are ranked ahead of Louisville in every poll and that will influence the selection.

 
If USC wins their last two games they will move ahead of Michigan in the BCS polls. If Notre Dame beats USC, then Michigan will get the re-match or another team like Florida could get a shot. Notre Dame will not play Ohio State because Michigan beat them soundly earlier in the year and Ohio State romped over them in last years Fiesta Bowl.

If Cal had won, ND would get that at large spot in the Rose Bowl, damn.

But then they'd play Cal, not USC. Which ever way it falls, I think ND will get a great game, and there's not a team I've enjoyed watching more lately. I think Florida would be a great game.

Kind of sad to see Texas/Boise State on there. Oh well...Texas' fault for losing to KS. If theu beat KSU, they'd likely get an at large if not the Nat'l championship game.

I wouldnt mind playing Cal. A matchup you dont see often, and if it were the Rose Bowl I'd make a big push to go to the game since I wouldnt have to pay travel costs. ND will still get a good bowl, would have been nice for them to come to Ca though.
 
Maybe next year some big schools will actually invite Boise State to play them, so you whiners can see them being "put in their place".
 
Obviously I like to see Florida play for the NC, but I'd also like to see them play ND. That'd be a good one.

I still think if they go undefeated they should get in the NC title game.
 
Immagine a WVU/USC matchup... that would be great

How about in a few years time, National Championship - Clausen v Tebow. It'll be like Magic vs Bird, Marino vs Montana all over again. :hump:

This year's freshman class along with the class thats being recruited right now are looking very good for the Gators!
