Miami retooled its receiving corps to provide bigger targets in the red zone for quarterback Ryan Tannehill. First-round pick DeVante Parker (6-foot-3), tight end Jordan Cameron (6-5) and receivers Greg Jennings and Kenny Stills are all talented playmakers. Jordan Cameron signed with the Miami Dolphins on March 12th, 2015, signing a two year deal worth a reported $15 million. Jordan Cameron possess a skill set that Tannehill has been unfamiliar with throughout his NFL career. Cameron not only runs great routes but also has the ability to create separation with his quickness. He finds the ball well in the air, using his big body to shield off defenders. After adding Cameron, third year Tight End Dion Sims said publicly that the duo would cause “mismatch nightmares” for opposing defenses.
This was evidenced in the first two games of the season, Jordan caught 7 passes for 140 yrds with an average of 19yards per catch but since then its like our tight end coach turned head coach suddenly forget how to use the tight ends. Cameron entered the season with lofty goals but is currently on pace for just 40 receptions. This shows why Miami is an inconsistent team, thy have no identity on offense. How do you turn a $7 million Tight end into a ****ing pass blocker? Un****ing believable!!!

That's what happens when you have a bad Oline, what a shame, would have been nice to see what our offensive weapons could do. Parker hasn't been able to line up so.....

Im not going to lie... Im starting to lean towards the coaching sucks...

There are many mouths to feed on this offense.

For every additional throw to Jordan Cameron, you have to take the ball away from Lamar Miller, Jay Ajayi, Kenny Stills, Jarvis Landry, Rishard Matthews, etc.

Who do you want to see less of?

Hmmmm. Why is our 7m dollar pro bowl TE a blocker only now. Well..........., .

When your qb refuses to throw to him.

When your qb sees only one wr on every play.

When your qb holds onto the ball so long, everyone, including ball boys have to be in there to block for him.

Thats how it happened.

Hell, he doesnt even throw to Sims anymore. On one of those endzone snafus last week, tanny is once again throwing from the philly endzone and and sims makes a nice little wiff block, sneaks through the lineand sets himself up for a quick throw. But.........., the throw doesnt happen, tanny is too buisy looking downfield for, wait......., lemme think......uuughhh, .........hmmmmm, ........, OH YEAH!!! JARVIS LANDRY.

People can keep blaming lazor for an offense that worked great in philly but is not productive here. Tanny (like gannon said 5 times during the philly game) "has been in this offense long enough, and in the nfl long enough to not be making these same mistakes. It looks as though he has REGRESSED instead of progressed like some of the younger qb's have".

OFFENSE WISE, tannehill is our biggest issue. They even touched on his footwork a couple times saying this absolutely should not be happening with him at all at this point in his career. And they are right. Everybody, o-line, te's, coordinator, all getting the blame on this stagnated offense EXCEPT the guy who executes it (or is supposed to) every sunday!!

Like him or not, Ronald Reagan had a great saying, he said "never be afraid to see whats right in front of you". Good advice, in everything from politics to religion, family, work and sports. The answer to EVERYTHING is always there if people will ALLOW THEMSELVES to see it.

And right now, people are refusing to see or 900 gubillin, trillion, zillion dollar and.45 cents a game qb is $HITTING THE BED!!!!! I dont know if it's because he knows he has no REAL competition for his job, or, the mega monstrosity contract milk shake mike gave him. Maybe both, i dont know. But tanny is nothing short of AWFUL for most of this year.

Hopefully he can pull it together because with that contract our vp of sport shake's operations gave him, he aint goin' nowhere for a looooong time.

If you throw 30 behind the l.o.s. wr screens per game, someone is going to lose snaps

Less bubble screens on 3rd and 7 more seam passes to Cameron.

I'd like to see more deep passing overall, but some things to consider..

1) The weakest part of our offense is pass protection. Sending our TE down the field means less pass protection, and more maulings for Tannehill.

2) When pass protection is weak, it may make sense to get rid of the ball quickly, thus the short passes.

That's why I envy the Pats. You never know who is going to be a beast any given game. Edelman one week, Gronk next, oh maybe lafel or rb...that's coaching to keep opposing defense's in the dark .

Our pass protection has not been that bad this year. Aside from failing to recognize LB blitzes, they've been adequate in pass protection. When a LB blitzes, he vacates the middle area of the field and Tannehill has to recognize that and counter with a short seam pass to the TE or a qb draw. He's not going to get two seconds to scan the field during a 5 man rush.

Lazor is the offensive coordinator, If Tannehill isn't doing the things he wants, maybe he should call more designed plays. Or better yet, maybe just call better plays period. Seen enough WR screens for 2 yard gains, and a lack of Ajayi in the red zone, to know Lazor likes to make it hard for himself and everyone around him.

I don't think they devloped any chemistry together. Clay always seemed to be an option when the plays fell apart or he got through the read(s). I was pissed when he left for a rival.

When both Albert and James have played in a combined 3 games together you have to ask more of the TE to help out....Plus the fact that Sims was out for a few games doesn't help the cause either.

What's strange is I see 2 TE sets where Cameron stays in to block and Sims goes out for a pass. Thought Sims was a great blocker and Cameron a great receiver.
