Ummm, mods, I seriously dont think that a "Huzienga will want a roof on Phin Stadium" should be merged with the Superbowl thread.. In fact, it has nothing to do with the Super Bowl, it has to do with DOLPHIN STADIUM and the DOLPHINS.

I am often confused how mods make decisions around here...

Say hello to a ROOF on Dolphin Stadium!

Huzienga has previously voiced his desire to put a roof on the Fish Tank to help solidify it as a good venue for concerts and such.. I think that today's semi-aquatic Super Bowl will only serve to...

Now do you understand? You made the connection.

WTF? So if there is even a slight reference to it its automatically a SB thread? You and I both know that the issue being presented has largely to do with DOLPHIN STADIUM and its impact on the Dolphins and their fans, NOT the SB.. As evidenced by THREE threads that been posted on the issue and quickly merge..

The matter of the fact is that this issue for discussion has very little to do with the Superbowl.. It has to do with how Huzienga will view this event and change the stadium in ways that will impact the DOLPHINS and their fans..

Just because something has the word superbowl in it doesnt mean that it should be in the Superbowl thread. Honestly the two subjects have nothing to do with eachother and while I respect the fact that the mods work very hard to prevent repeat threads I dont believe the right choice was made this time.

I answered your question, bro. I didn't say it was the right thing to do but I explained you main contention that your post had nothing to do with the Super Bowl after you said it did in your initial post.

Read my response above.

Read my response above.

The response still doesnt quite answer the question in my opinion, as many, including alex will agree.. But I will let it be.

Maybe we can revisit this topic in relation to the Dolphins once it is written about in the paper tommorow morning. Perhaps then it will be considered Dolphin news.

I answered the question you originally asked...about why it was confused with a Super Bowl thread. Besides, we've worked it our via PM and it's no one else's concern at this point.

Its been our policy that questions or comments that arise from actual games should be addressed in the game threads.

It could be comments about players, questionable calls ,field conditions etc.

While the game is going on its game related.

If it hadnt been raining tonight would this question have arised ?

You can bring the topic up after the game. What we dont want is to distract attention from the topic at hand.......which is the game.
