that whenever we get a low draft pick it's always between stud draft classes? Last yr was a great draft class, and next yr is a great draft class, but this yr is only a solid draft class that will need to be executed to perfection to get difference makers.

Next yr's draft class
QB
Brian Brohm
Chad Henne
Colt Brennen
Rudy Carpenter *jr next yr
Nate Longshore *jr next yr

Thats just the QB's if anybody wants any other positions just let me know, and ill get the top guys for ya.
 
Haha its ok we'll prolly be bad enough to take a top QB in next years draft.. I see us goin with Cpep for a couple games, that doesnt work out and its pretty much a repeat of this year .. one good thing i see tho, we draft oline this year so our oline improves and our secondary improves thru draft as well...we get a top rated qb in the 08 draft, and the 08 season could be a great year for us ... 07 is lookin shaky

The Key is finding that late round QB like NE. Buf took a chance on Losman and maybe he is finally coming of age, but I think 1st round QBs have too much pressure on them, that is why you see the flops.

Now that being said you have CP. Whether healthy or not, you will see he is most likely done. He cannot read a DEF and never has been able too. Now what I would do if I was MIA front office I would take Palko out of Pitt, I think that is his name. He will be a steal in the late rounds, groom him for a year, wheter behind CP, JH, CL and let him battle for the job next year
 
Rudy Carpenter lol. I knew that guy growing up, no thanks to that

Besides there are plenty of good QBs and QBs with potential that can be had in the later rounds in this draft.
