How does it feel to win a championship? I was like 2 when Marino was in it. So Old Tymers what does it feel like?

I hope not like this one

I´ve seen 10 min ago one of the most disgraceful sb wins in history , i don´t know if it was meant to be or not , but the referees just blew this one out from the start , pitt did´nt play a good game but the calls just gave them the win .

I was born in 1966 so I was 6 and 7 when we won it back to back in '72 and '73....I still remember it and I have waited 33+ years for another championship.

I was 9 and 10 when we won in 73 and 74. I don't remember much but I did have a great feeling knowing my fins were the greatest. At that age I guess it doesn't really sink in the magnitude of it all. But fear not I think they will be in it soon enough and that way old and young can have the feeling that the steelers fans have tonight.

I was 10 in 1972. It was completely exhilarating.

I was 7 and 8....it was almost orgasmic...before i knew what orgasmic was

I was 2 and 3. I wet my pants :)

When I was what, 12 and then 14 and we lost, I pretty much crapped my pants.

Within the next 2-3 years I expect to experience an embarassing victory erection !

I was 10 and 11 and lived in New York. My parents thought I was going nuts when I ran outside with my Dolphins T-Shirt on in the middle of winter and went crazy. Best Time of my life.

Totally agree. If I were a Seahawks fan right now, I'd be appologizing to my wife for throwing my TV through the front bay window and uttering enough obsenities to make a construction crew blush. In past superbowls refs obviously just let the game happen and the outcome determined by the players. The saying stands true, the less you hear from the refs, the better the game they called. I can't recall a SB where so many crucial, and I mean FREAKING CRUCIAL, calls absolutely shifted the momentum, field position and outright score of the game. Obviously the most disgraceful of all (notwithstanding the BR TD call; the pylon kick that didn't get noticed for a TD; the push off call) was the sequence in which the Seahawks completed a pass down to the one yard line, from which Alexander would most certainly have punched it in with his goaline nose, only to have it called back on a phantom holding call. Let me tell you something, when your calling a superbowl, if you don't see the OL literally haul the DL to the ground with a handfull of jersey, you look the other way. For cryin out loud you've got to let them play ball. Then, to make matters worse (following the subsequent INT that never should have happened), they call an illegal block on a QB who MADE THE TACKLE! He made the freaking tackle and they call him with an illegal block! How the hell can one person do both? Rediculous. To be honest with you, I had absolutely no dog in this fight one way or the other (didn't bet; don't like either team; etc.), but it made me sick to see a SB come down to this. I feel bad for both teams. The Steelers can't walk away with a true sense that they won the game outright by outplaying the other team, and the Seahawks can't walk away knowing that had they just executed a little better they wouldv'e won. Both teams were cheated by officials. Not the way it's suppose to be.

Football wise, I wouldnt know. But my Spurs have won 3 times in the last 7 years. It isnt the same as the NFL b/c the NFL is the biggest sport in the country. That's why football is my favorite sport. It either really excites you for weeks upon weeks (Seattle winning 11 in a row), or depresses you into drinking (us going 4-12).

I'd much rather the Dolphins win the SB then anything else, but until they do, I'll take all the Spurs titles they can deliver

I was like negative-fifteen or something, but it felt great!

I was 10 as well. I also get the bragging rights of going to every single home game during the 71-72-73 SB run. The playoff games at the Orange Bowl were so loud it was almost impossible for the other teams to think, much less give hand signals.

Miami Dolphins fans are the ones who made waving a hanky famous. The Steelers fans stole it from us. It was sick how into the games Miami fans were back then. Totally sick!!

1: the roethlisberger TD was impossible to overturn. you just couldn't tell from the camera angles.
2: the pylon kick? his right foot landed out of bounds before his other foot touched the pylon. not even close.
3: the push-off was an easy call. check this out: http://img93.imageshack.us/img93/9695/pushoff4cr.gif ...very easy call.
