This guy has an amazing mix of speed and power... After re watching that play in the end-zone where he caused a safety I have to admit he is an AMAZING player.... He literally had the strength to hold up their left tackle with one arm, push him out of the way, and the speed to get inside, close the distance fast and make the play....

And remember the game vs the Texans where he almost stopped their drive by HIMSELF? ??? when he gets going he's hard to stop...

amazing amazing pass rusher, very nice mix of speed and power, the best linebacker to ever play for the fins, and one of the best pass-rushers of all time!!!!!!!!

And for all the people who were saying "bad signing he had a horrible year last year etc etc"... I'm gonna respond to that the same way that HE DID. If you really watch and understand football, then you would see that he had a very solid year...... he caused multiple holding penalties (good as sacks) and didn't even get many chances to rush the passer... thanks to the idiocy of Cam Moron who used him foolishly (trying to drop him back in coverage almost every play....)

JP = BEST player on our defense by far!!!! If Merling and Langford start to come around, then we will have a very very strong pass rush. Langford has been playing good for a rookie but Merling seems to get stopped every single play and is not playing that well...

Not the best LB ever for the Fins. But he's having one of the best single seasons in Dolphin history.

But as far as all-around LB, Buoniconti, AJ Duhe, and Zach Thomas might be better.

Not evreyone sees the game with LOGIC and UNDERSTANDING.

Do you remember a guy named Zach Thomas? He was pretty good too. lol!

Yah he was pretty good but I think most of his stats came from our system (which featured the middle linebacker as the leading tackler)

He doesn't have nearly the ability that JP does athletically

You know one of the reasons why he is having such a good year? Partially because of that rookie HC that you just bashed in another thread(I.E. Sparano's schemes and motivational skills)...
