Culpepper won't be at the start of the season and maybe not even the whole season. Who is going to start while he can't play? Sage is gone, Lemon has never played in a regular season game, and Frerotte probably won't restructure and will be cut. The only two FA available who are even close to starter quality are Griese and McCown.
