How Exactly does the Bronco loss help us?

Well, if they keep losing and end up at 8-8, then I guess it just opens up another WC spot. I dunno, too many factors still at this point. After next week, the playoff picture should be much clearer.

Not sure if our chances increased that much today with NE, Bal, and Houston all winning today, but Jags loss takes them out of our way and Broncos loss knocks them down a peg.

Nope, BAL wins out and gets in over us.

Basically, if BAL and NE both win out, we're probably going to miss the playoffs regardless of what we do (unless Denver starts tanking).

Denver plays Philly on the 27th, and that is defintely a game that could be lost, so them losing this game leaves us only 1 game behind them. Then, tiebreaking rules would come into effect.
