How exciting is our D-Line and Rush LB's

I had that feeling last night that every snap was an automatic sack. It was an awesome feeling as a Dolphin fan. We have a great scheme and a bunch of good D-lineman.

If you didn't remember or thought he was a bust signing, Starks played awesome. The guy was given 7 million to sign, he showed up last night.

Dotson and Nincovinch has motors for big guys and made big plays.

This defense has a swagger to them, and its awesome to see.

The best part is that all these guys are young and here for a while. Crowder and Holliday are the only questions for the long term because of Holliday's age and Crowders contract ending.

It's an awesome time to be a fan.
 
Most notably, i really like our blitz packages this year. The last few years were painful to watch. I was predicting a blitz with 95% accuracy.

Yeah I noticed that too. I mentioned it in one of my post after the Jaguars game. This player-friendly defense seems to be the right fit for these players.
 
did you notice how successful we were getting to the quarterback on a 4 man rush? if we keep having that success then we won't have to suffer in pass coverage.
 
Our rookie DE's impress me the most along with Roth. This year is going to be great to watch IMO whether we go from worst to first or just use it as a statement year. I can't wait to see Fav-RE running for his old life.
 
I am loving the D, the only wish I have is that our DB's would play a little tighter on the receivers, I am just not 100% sure they would be able to keep up with WR's.

Don't worry Chubby, I'm sure DB's that fit our scheme is first priority next offseason and draft.:up:

I've been waiting 7 years to say that last line, specially since I became a fan just after Marino retired, all of my seasons have been deceptions, but I'm still here and I'm ready to show other teams how powder is done!.

(I've been a Dolfan for all of my life, but I took it seriously when I had NFL conscience around 12).

That linebacker nincovinch played well last week. I saw him on at least one sack if I remember right and was always pressuring the qb. Don't know anything about him but noticed him last week and wondered about him. Be nice to have some young cheap rookies to back up the starters and when called upon shine.

Although he was horrible last year, he has been playing very well all preseason. We may have something here.
 
i think ninkovich was brought in as a DE last year. he was needed when soliai was "nobody home," matt roth was injured (presumably) and ineffective, traylor was nearing the end of the road, and steve fifita (please help us) was running around as if he were an NFL player. i don't know what happened to him between last year and now (other than the position switch), but he has been showing up every time he's on the field, at least on passing downs.
