Last 2 Weeks, oh Gus is the man, he is outplaying AJ by light years. "AJ is the worst QB in the NFL" "Why did we waste a 2nd round pick on him"

Now this week after ONE game "Gus sucks." "AJ is the man"

:shakeno:

EDIT - BTW, I am a Gus supporter for this season but I want whoever is better to start to help this team out, but this is JUST unbelievable.

And we have been like this since Marino retired and we where stuck lookin' for a new Franchise QB...

Fiedler and Huard.
Fiedler and Lucas.
Fidler and Griese.
Fiedler and Feeley.
Feeley and Frerrote.

Let's not forget, The Nictator is trying to pick up Tim Couch.

I still think Gus is in the lead for the QB job, but I don't think its over by any means.

I wonder where this really stands with the coaches. I mean after last nights performance they may have to re-think their support of Gus. Then again at some point you have to name your starter and simply go for it and ride out the hard times until everyone is on the same page in this offense.

is this the reason some of you have said our crowd sucks at home games..?

i don't think people are flip-flopping.... its just WHEN they make the noise.

when Gus plays well, the Feeley supporters are quiet and you don't hear much from them. When Feeley plays well the Feeley supporters come out of the woodwork and start praising Feeley and slamming Gus.

Then, next game it switches back - Gus does well and the Feeley supporters retreat.

I won't call myself a part of either "camp", as i'm not sold on either of these guys. I just want whoever is the best to start. I trust Saban's decision on this one, after all the guy knows football a LOT better than i do.

I'll be a Dolphins fan forever. Win or lose. I want the best QB on the field. Whoever gets us as many wins as possible. I don't care who it is. I'll support both of them. I'm really getting tired of our "QB woes" but it's life.

Since I've been alive, the Dolphins haven't won a Super Bowl. Makes you wonder why each year is tough to watch if they lose. They never won anything before so it should be expected right?

I know what you mean. It's just what you get for being a passionate fan.

My thoughts.

I thought Fiedler was bad, with our current situation we should just start
Sage, until the oline gets it together, cause the Qb is going to get hurt
anyway. The last few years before the Ricky debacle, I always said we were a
coach and Qb away from the SB. Now we have the coach, we have to be patient until the oline comes together and then get the Qb. It will probably take 2 or 3 yrs. For Saban to rebuild what Wanny destroyed namely the Oline. Perfect example from the past, Chicago, they're just starting to get it together after the Wanny era.

People are trying to play backseat coach. Its easy to look back and say what was wrong or right. Most people are too nearsighted to realize that fact.

No one also is willing to accept that the Dolphins are in a spot that is not envied by any team ever. New coach, new QB's, new offensive AND defensive coordinators, new offensive line, new playbooks, etc. And lets not forget that many of our players on the oline have only signed for 1 year. I see this as a coach just trying to bandaid together a team for a season so things can work themselves out.
I don't expect anything great this year or even close to it. Saban was given a team in disarray and I see him merely as trying to just get something close that might resemble a team.
As for those that are the type that are saying which QB is best for this team, I ask them this. How long have you been an NFL coach? I'm just saying that those in charge know what they're doing, we don't. Not up to their level anyway.

If we win 5 games this year, its better then last. Thus improvement. I will still be a Dolphins fan no matter who starts and who doesn't.

I agree that people shouldn't give up on a player after one bad game but they both stink. The dolphins haven't had good quarterback play for about ten years.
