How have you been treated as a Dolphins fan this year?

I travel at least twice per month for work and for most of the times I choose to wear my Dolphins gear when going to the airport. Man, in 23 years of being a fan, I have never been approached by these many strangers in my entire life. When Tua got hurt in the Cincinnati game people were approaching telling me how sorry and supportive they felt for Tua as if I knew him personally it caught me off guard because it happened a lot. Then there's the tap on the shoulder with the regular "how about those dolphins with Tua and Tyreek hill huh?. I was in Hawaii recently for vacation and while there I wore my Dolphins gear for most of the time and boy I was in for a great surprise of all the free drinks I got from local bartenders that see Tua as a local hero and support our team. So how it's been for you? For me it's been nothing but love and positives which you would think it was otherwise based on the media's narrative about our team.

I wear this at work. I live in Indiana and work for the VA so I get some lighthearted crap talking but the Colts suck so they don't say too much.

I live in Boston and I'm still getting the Pat's are better and are getting ready to make their late season run.

I lost almost everything I had in a fire five years ago, so all I've got is the Marino jersey I bought when I was 16 with my first paycheck, my slate '16 Salute to Service hoodie and a khaki hat with the old logo on it.

I don't wear the jersey any more, but when I wear the hoodie or hat, no one has ever said anything.

When I wear my red USMC hat though, I get a lot of dirty looks from bitter, old/middle-aged women though, because they think it's a MAGA hat.

I live outside of Philadelphia by the New Jersey Shore and Philly fans show no mercy to opposing fans or fans of other teams. It's mostly the younger adult crowd that bust my balls. The older crowd are cool. They usually engage in insightful sports conversations. I'm an older person myself, so it be nice if these kids would just show some respect. It doesn't happen often, but unfortunately the BS happens more than I'd think most older folks can take

Well living in bronco and Josh Allen country. For years people in my town are like oh you poor guy. What in God's name made you choose the Dolphins. This year most of my town is like looks like all those years of suffering are coming to an end. It's an nfl gumbo here. Broncos, Steelers, Chargers and Raiders fans surround me.

Went to a wedding with a ton of people I haven’t seen in 5 or so years and about 7 of them said “ man your fins look good “ . Everyone knows I am a fins fan despite me not advertising it . Respect thing

In my town I have come across 3 Fin fans wearing their gear and it’s great to stop everything for 5 - 10 minutes and talk Fins to a complete stranger my wife is super patient God Bless her!

Poorly as the Fan960 radio in Calgary run their mouths about Tua and Reek - just after Reek declared Tua as most accurate I texted them my mind - who is scoffing now??

Started to notice more people wearing gear around town in Broward...yeah yeah I know its not out of state but for many years I barely noticed anything and that's here...in FL!

Hell I noticed more Pats garbage like hats and jerseys being worn than Fins merch...

So the word is getting out...

I Life in a little Village in north Germany,noone cares If i use my Tua or Marino Jersey,i think 90% ppl here Not even know about NFL Here.

do you know how long it has been since we weren't a one trick pony wildcat, or a fluke chad pennington team.


i think the last time we were ACTUALLY good and not just pretenders, was back in the 1990s.

even that 11 win season with Chad Pennington, we all knew we were pretenders that year and had no hopes of beating anyone in the playoffs.


but this team... i actually believe we can reach a super bowl.
