How Huge Was That 1 Second Left At The Half?

It looked like the ball did hit the ground with 1 second left. It wasnt something we can complain about IMO

Not as huge as a 32 year old Randy Moss beating a 21 year old VD on a crossing pattern....
Yea. How did Davis let that bum burn him? Youd swear that guy was a first ballot HOFer or something.

Nice try at sarcasm but it epically failed. I am assuming it was in response to the "Jake Long sucks" thread.

A 21 year old with davis speed and talent should be able to easily catch that guy. The problem is VD got his helmet shoved through the back of his face and instead of holding on until someone could help him, he left his feet. Once you leave your feet, your blew your entire load.

I have no clue how PP let rookie corners have no over the top help. I think Bell was staying up to press against the run. Regardless, rookie corners need help. The end result is what you saw.

It played a huge role in the finally of the game, nice to see homefield advantage at it`s finest.

Did we win by 3 or by 10? I'm not trying to start anything but it seems you guys just look for anything to complain about in regards to the Pats.

WTF are you talking about?

And I have no idea how you can be mad at Vontae for getting beat by a future HOFer. Im sure, being that Moss is a future HOFer and all, that some damn good corners have been fried by him.

The complaints are mostly for our own players not the Pats, but being down seven or 10 is a huge difference at the end of the game. Or do you know a ten point play?

Maybe I confused you for someone else. If that is so, my bad.

However, just like if you get your hands on the ball you have to make the catch. If you grab onto of all people a WR (we aren't talking about a 315 lb DL here) and especially someone with the talent of VD who is known for coming up and making hits, YOU MUST do everything to bring the guy down.

I am not faulting VD as he is definitely inexperienced. However, if the dolphins want to start moving up the NFL ladder, they must start making plays. This is no exception and the it wasn't like Moss did anything special on that play other than do what pretty much every other NFL player does (catch the ball and stiff arm a defender).

You guys get way to hung up on age! With the technology, vitamins, suppliments, year round conditioning and workouts these guys do age becomes less of a number.

Look at it this way if you didn't know a players age, and all you knew was he is out there making huge plays game in and game out would you want that player?

The 1 second was what should have been on the clock, and it was.

No complaints about this game but how we played. The Saints game, I have complaints about all around. But this one, we just lost fair and square, like the Falcons and Colts games.

Personally, I don't think Moss is stronger or faster than Davis. Moss is GREAT at getting position on catches as well as having AMAZING hands. I don't think he can run that 4.25 40' time that he supposedly ran as a freshman at FSU. Regardless, it is what it is. I am not losing sleep over it. Time to move on.

There was 1 second left, but it was still frustrating because 99% of the time, the clock operator will end the half in that situation.
