I was not a fan on signing Moreno, and had the very bad after taste of crow from game #1 to prove it. I've seen some reports on how he helped the OL block. They say that when a runner puts out that kind of effort with success, the OL gets more focused and blocks harder. It's not to say that they were not trying without it, just that they kick it up a notch. I think he did the same for Miller.

Hope to see much more of the same this Sunday

Just think three weeks ago there were threads posted on finheaven saying Moreno should be cut.

I was never for cutting him but, last month did think that DT was going to help the team more. NOT one of my better predictions. :)

What is most promising is that it's not even the offensive line by itself that looked far better. The rb's and te's were blocking better too. Here's hoping last week's success holds up and withstands the test of time.

KM did in one game what we were waiting on DT to do his entire career.
Absorb hits and finish runs.
We have not seen this since LP, RB, and RW left.

P.S if you dont know who LP is your not a fan.

Sure you don't mean LS?

I agree 100%. He put this team on his back for the reasons you stated (aside from Thomas, he's a bum and I had him pegged 2 years ago). I agree it was evident that Moreno was the spark that started it all. If this line becomes consistently solid we may look back at Moreno fighting for extra yards in game 1 as the turning point, because we were flat before they followed his lead. I don't mind admitting I was not a fan of the signing as I preferred a bigger guy like Gerhart from Minny for example, but I hope he keeps this up. Even if he doesn't, for me, beating the cheats was worth a few million of Ross' dollars. Love it!

LS was another RB named Lamar with Smith as his last name. In 2000, which I do remember, he ran for over 1000 yards, and 14 Frakin TD's. In the first playoff game, he ran 48 times for 214 yards, and 2 TD's. He also caught 4 passes for 22 yards, and sold beer at halftime. :)

Oh yeah, if you did not know that, you are still a fan. :)

I think he is going to help Miller and show him how to do it...1 gut and go...
