How is Boston's recovery coming along?

Sorry to tell you guys but If boston is 100% this season he will not be linning up in the slot. Boston is really big, tall, strong, and fast as hell. Sure booker should be our #2 on the depth chart, but chambers and boston on the outside and booker in the slot is the way it should go. Booker is not as fast as the other two, But he is the QUICKEST in and out of his breaks and he is good after the catch... And he is pretty physical.. These are all things that you need in a slot reciever... keep the 2 scary fast as hell, go up and get it guys on the outside to stretch the field...

although you're right, it was still 4 years ago...

Yeah, but the point is can this guy put it together? if the answer is yes, then there is no reason why he couldn't return to 2001, he is only 27, and that is still young for a WR.

I'm hoping our WR Corps looks something like this:

WR1- Chris Chambers
WR2- Marty Booker
WR3- David Boston
WR4- Derrius Thompson
WR5- Bryan Gilmore
WR6- Wes Welker

I'm a really excited and pumped up about Boston, but I personally would like to see Marty Booker at the #2 spot opposite of Chambers. I really like the idea of David Boston on #3 CB's and also I would also like to see Chris Chambers in the slot sometimes when we have 3 WR's out there. Not only am I so pumped about the TRIO of Chambers, Booker, and Boston... but throw in Randy McMichael with Scott Linehan running the show... :cooldude:
i hope this is the lineup.

Anyone know how Boston's rehab is coming? A while back at the first mini camp he was said to be about 85%, where is he now? If he can get healthy with a good attitude he could really help us.

Nice to see a fellow albertan fin fan look for me on the deerfoot with my dolphins car flag

I'm just waiting for him to punch out his paperboy or something.

dont wanna be a smartass here but it wasn`t a TD :)

I just checked it out and you're right. It was a 48 yard completion and no td(still impressive). That game against the Rams was the 2nd best of the season. Booker threw that completion, Chambers had a 71yd td rec, successful fake punt, the Bua hit, Surtain shutdown Holt, and it was the first win of the season. Of course Wanny was right back to being conservative the next week but it was definately a fun game to watch.

How good is D-Bo if he is 100%...good enuff to take Booker's spot or Chambers even?

I think we could end up having a 1a, 1b and 1c type of WR situation. It all depends on who we are playing that week.

All 3 of our starting WR's are all capable of being the #1 guy.
