How is Boston's recovery coming along?

Boston, with his head on and playing like in Arizona a few years ago is better than CC or MB (or at least what they have shown so far). But I agree that I'd rather see Boston as Linehan's 3rd WR...the best case scenario has CC and Boston as the feature reciever with CC and Booker there when defenses start getting more scared of him and cover him with their better CBs. Boston will certainly have to earn his way back into the lineup though.

Sorry to tell you guys but If boston is 100% this season he will not be linning up in the slot. Boston is really big, tall, strong, and fast as hell. Sure booker should be our #2 on the depth chart, but chambers and boston on the outside and booker in the slot is the way it should go. Booker is not as fast as the other two, But he is the QUICKEST in and out of his breaks and he is good after the catch... And he is pretty physical.. These are all things that you need in a slot reciever... keep the 2 scary fast as hell, go up and get it guys on the outside to stretch the field...

Yes...I agree...

Not to mention all the crap he did after that. the steroids, the assualt charge, i mean, he'll have to claw for that third spot in my opinion.

what??? Claw????? ha ha hah ha hahahah please. I think you mean booker. booker at 100% versus boston at 100%, i would take boston hands down.

I don't know how Linehan will use Chambers, but last year they put him in the slot whenever we went to three wide receiver sets. The plan was to try to get CC on their third CB.

IMO using Chambers in the slot is a waste of talent.Booker fits the slot receiver position better.

I am not counting on Boston making it very far.

Having said that I dont mind seeing Chambers lining up in different spots to add variety and surprise to the offense.

Many teams like to put their fastest wr in the slot. In addition to sometimes getting a weaker CB, the CB losses the ability to use the sideline as a defender and the speed can be used to split the safeties. I don't think it's a waste of talent. It's a question of philosophy.

If Boston has a productive and injury free camp, do you really think he`ll be happy starting the season as a #3 WR?

I know they do but if its overused defenses will adjust to it and you lose the element of surprise.IMO its more effective as a change of pace type of play. And you run the extra risk of injury because of the additional banging slot receivers get.
