how long before roth....

2.Who would be the baddest mf on our team? Chester has an ACL injury, Bua and Pope are shrimps, and we all know how good Moore is at fighting.

Dammit. Did it again.

Note to self. No drinking Diet Mt. Dew while reading FinHeaven.

I'd love to see him kick Mawae's *** at a Jets game. Granted, we'd get a flag but I figure we'll have a comfortable 35-3 lead by then so it shouldn't matter too much.

From his time at Iowa he didn't start a lot of fights just finished them. He will just try to get into the head of the person trying to block him and at some point they just lash out. Roth loves this because once this happens he just beats them like a drum.

I was actaully a little worried how him an Crowder would get along considering how strong both their personalities are. However, from what I have heard, they kinda hit it off. As they say. The future leaders of our D.

I think Roth will get into a fight pretty fast, the first time some OL tries to treat him like a rookie, and unfortunately I think that will be very soon. He'll get the water and carry the pads and stuff, but that stuff is done for the defensive veterans, and that is different. But the first time Stockar McDougle grabs his face mask and locks on, or the first time Roth goes full 100 mph and drills someone, some OL is going to come back and drill him and let him know that isn't ok...and Roth will end up in a fight with him.

The thing I'm concerned about is in the pros everyone is KEENLY aware of injuries especially during practice. When you injure someone, you hurt their wallet, and that's personal. Roth had a rep back at Iowa for going so crazy during practice that coaches had to blow the whistle early, had to hold him back and whatnot. Professional coaches are NOT going to do that for some rookie, trust me. They'll rely on the players to police him, and that means the second he goes over the line, or goes too far, the very next play and OL is going to hand him his @ss.

Tomorrow's Zack and Jason. All Roth has to do now is marry Crowder's sister...

I'd love to see that too, but sorry, that is more of a longshot than David Boston making the pro bowl.

I hope Roth doesn't get in an serious fights and saves his anger and adrenaline and unleash it all on the football field against the opposing opponet.

well from what i have heard he beat up about 15 bouncers at a bar and he would hurt is team mates in practice! i would not be suprised if he tried to take on the baddest mf on our team the 1st day.[/QUOTE]

I would

His biggest collision b4 the season starts will be when he's walking through Saban's office door and Bowens is walking the other way after being told he is overweight

Roth is a rookie. He will be too busy carrying water to the veterans. Seau and Zach will keep him in line. Unleash him on the Jets, Pats or Jills.

Exactly. He won't just go after people for no reason, he wants respect from the vets. But on the other hand I don't think he would back down if pushed. He's a bit nuts, which you want at his position. And yes, no matter what he does in practice, he will save plenty of hurt for the Jills, Jets, Pats and the rest of the league.

If he hurts someone in practice it is because he has no low gear. He always goes full out and that was the story you heard in college. Not that he would just start fights for fun. Ultra competitive and tough. I cannot wait to see him play for us!

reminds me a bit of Rick Graf--Just hope he lasts a bit longer
