I really think they'll try, but it will die do to lack of any energy. Ricky is a different human being now, one that seems - at least - to be content with just playing and giving his best. Ronnie has already shared the spotlight in college, and will be more than willing to do that again, for at least this season. He seems like a real team player and all-around good guy.

Of course the media - local and national - will try to play this as some kind of controversy, but I think the good results we'll see on the field will later lead to a celebration by the media as the best backfiend in the NFL!

Both players being the quiet type also helps.The media will have to try harder than normal but I'm sure they'll try something.

Saw the Saban interview and he stated he plans to use them in the same backfield to create problems for other defenses,which I know alot of us anticipated.How much is the question.

This is a must see IMO,phins fan or not.

it all depends what happens this sunday. if the fins play brown most of the time and they loose, there will be media talk about starting ricky. if the fins win with brown, then the "we dont need ricky" stuff will start.

just make sure ricky gets 10 carries, and Brown 15+ carries and it will be fine.

but will the fins run that much??

well, they are still bashing him....did anyone hear that idiot esiason on the pre game? someone made a comment that Ricky was going to be back next week and esiason the idiot comes back with "you think he is going to do anything?? No way.No way"

I swear every time i watch that show i want marino to stand up and punch him dead in the face.

Really..its only a controversy if the fans feed it. Thats who the writers are trying to get all riled up..so people read their articles more. If we as fans ignore any controversy talk, it will fall by the wayside.

Local media will do it but there are situations where there are two good running backs all over. Denver would be the best example where Tatum Bell just had a huge day after Mike Anderson had one days earlier.
