How Long Does #34 Stay in Florida?

Wow nice way to support one of our player. What is interesting is that we have good memory only about what Ricky did last year, which he did apologize already, but we got short memory in reference how hard and good he was the previous two years.....funny.

the thing is that he apologizes and is forgiven just like that, i mean in awile ill forgive him, i dont hate him i just thuink when you do soemthign like that and he at first refuses to say sry and now does and hes forgiven just like that, idk man

I want him here for as long as he can help us win and for as long as it takes Ronnie to prove he can be THE guy. If Ricky can help us win, I'm forgetting what happened last year. Having 2 pro bowl caliber RB's is a nice problem to have. Stop it with this non-sense of having to get rid of the guy just becasue of what happened last year.

a) just until we can trade him
b) next year when the draft rolls around
c) 2-3 good years
d) retire a Dolphin
e) wont make it through pre-season

a) which may be b). For some reason I don't see as many big trades during the football season as other sports. In many cases it's that you need a whole pre-season to prepare for your new team's schemes and terminology. Although a RB could adpt more quickly than some positions, especially in a similar offense, I'd say we trade him before the draft next year. It cannot be too long if what Ricky said was true (2 more seasons).

What happened last year was the worst thing you could do to
1) your teamates
2) the man who gave you the chance and a much better paycheck
3) the fans

Added to the fact that he ADMITTED he waited until the last moment so as to force Miami into starting his friend.

I know we do not want to hash over all this again, but you must be cautious of his character based exactly upon his previous actions....not his remorseful (yet honest) words today.

Is there anyone here who will not be cringing every day this season when you log on and wondering if you will see that Ricky has either quit again or been caught with another violation ?

First post, hope I did not dig up too many skeletons.

He'll be gone after 2005 ............and the Hulkster and the millions of Hulkamaniacs worldwide will rejoice!

hopefully as soon as he proves himself the jags will be knocking on the door with that second round pick trying to redeem themselves for messing up the travis henry deal

Yep. All it takes is for Freddie to take one false step before the Jaguars are instant suitors.

A new season is here. I'm over it.

after we showcase him this year we'll trade him for a second or third round draft pick
