How Long until Karl Dorrell assumes the O.C position

I was thinking about this last night in regards to John Beck's development.I believe the popular thinking is that Karl will eventually replace Dan Henning as O.C. My question....If Dan is showing Karl the ropes it shouldnt take more than 2 years tops for Karl to be comfortable with game management and such, will they have the same styles or will this just be another new system for John or whoever the QB is to get comfortable with? Or is my thinking flawed in the fact that Dan is going to be here long term? Continuity with systems has been a major issue with us since well....Kippy Brown.

as a UCLA fan of several years, I'm not sure I would want that. If I thought that Karl masterminded UCLA's offensive prowess of 05 then I'd say yeah.

I dont know a lot about Karl from his UCLA days and really have only what I have read in regards to him being an eventuall relpacement. I just want stability with the OC position. Was Karl a pass first run second type or vice versa?
