I want the best producer to be on the field, but does anyone have an opinion if Brown can win the starting role back?

Maybe He is idle for additional healing...if so, how long?

He will still probably take 40% of the carries. It will be RBBC here.

Ricky gonna start but Ronnie will see significant time right away. He looked much more decisive in the last pre-season game.

He's not 'sitting', he's just not starting.

It's going to be like a 60/40 timeshare in favor or Ricky. They'll be plenty of carries to go 'round.

RB won't be sitting, but if your true question is "when will RB take over the starters role again?", then the answer is when RB outplays and outperforms RW. The Trifecta made it clear that the best man will win, at every position. RW has been the better back by far. Last year is last year, the team is dealing with RIGHT NOW.

Marion Barber wasn't the starter in Dallas last season, yet he was in the Pro Bowl. It's a two back system like we ran in 05', by Week 2 or 3 they'll be getting the same number of carries. I would be suprised if there was much of a difference between the number in Week 1; we all know Ronnie's history of success against NY for whatever reason...

Please remember this guy is only 10 months removed from a major knee injury. I hope he only recieves 30% of the snaps. RW is more than capable to handle the rest.

Whoever is hot will get the most carries. If Ronnie comes in and starts his shaking behind the line and Ricky is just running all over the Jets then Ricky will start, but something we need to remember is that Ronnie has been known for running all over the Jets and Ricky is another one who loves to run all over the Jets. I think we are gonna see a heavy dose of both.

ronnie is our MArion barber.... Ricky is Julius jones holding down the fort keepin the future fresh.

I think when Ronnie is finally healthy you could just see a starter by committee kind of thing. One week Ronnie will start, one week Ricky, and no matter what the week both guys will see significant carries anyway. It's certainly a great luxury to have if it works out.

Yep. And thats a good thing no doubt. Two fresh studs running the ball all year. Very exciting.

Please don't put Julius and Ricky in the same sentence. If Ricky didn't get all messed up and go on his smoking spree we might be talking hall of fame for that guy.

I know you said you want the best producer on the field, but really does it matter at this point? If we are winning games with either Ricky or Ronnie getting the 60%, does it matter? I think fantasy football has pushed the true football fans out of some people. I don't mean to sound negative, but that was the first thing I felt when I read this.
