Clearly a portion of fans here want Daunte sitting now. Just as clearly a certain percentage want Daunte to continue playing and blame the poor performance on Mularkey and/or the oline. So just to get a sense of the die hards and what percentage they make up I wanted to do a poll to see how long you are willing to give Daunte to prove he can still play effectively in the NFL.

No more time. Put in Harrington and see if he can lead the offense.

i gave him four games.

He's lost 75% of the season so far.

He's done.

we need to get the OL line working, the run game working and see how Duante progresses

if Duante doesn't show improvement we should give Lemon an audition

we should draft a QB next year if Pep doesn't progress

Confuscious says it is best to start a thread on the same topic every three minutes.

Give him the 2006 season. If we see this again next year, then you can put it all on him and not the injury. He is starting to look better already and I think he will start looking better each and every week.

give him the rest of the season, his mobility is coming back and he has looked much better, if the playcalling doesnt change no qb is going to be good for the dolphins

I would say give him till the bye week, if were 2-5 or worse yet 1-6 and he hasnt shown signs of improvement then put in Joey. Whatever it takes to give this team a spark cuz someone needs to light a fire under the teams ***.

you're correct but Joey ain't that guy

joey would be the deer in the headlights

is DC can't sack up then let's draft a Qb with a pair

I might put in Joey against the Packers since he knows them from his days in detroit

As long as Saban is here.

Daunte's been an elite QB before in this system. It's time to invest time and patience into our franchise QB. Give him the opportunity to succeed. Give him the resources to succeed.

And stop thinking this ship is one move away from greatness. Understand we have a long way to go and we need an identity. Daunte is the identity and he wants to be here. He wants to lead us.

Stop blowing up every position on the team on a weekly basis and allow these players to come together. Chemistry breeds success.

yeah lets wait till next year and throw away the season:shakeno:

Your absolutely correct, but were all a bunch of impatient fans that want to see success now and dont want to wait. If we wouldnt of been the dark horse superbowl pick all offseason then there wouldnt be so much panic. But we were and now everyone thinks anything short of superbowl or playoffs is a season wasted, when in reality this season could set daunte up for a breakout season next year. Who knows though, I trust saban so either way as long as i can finally see the dolphins go to the superbowl sometime in my lifetime then i can die a happy man.

I think you give him 2 full seasons. We all know he's not going to be his strongest until next season. I personally don't think Culpepper is our problem. Our biggest problem is the lack of sticking to the run. No QB can do much when the opposing team knows what he is about to do (drop back and throw). We need to be more persistent with the run and keep running and keep running. Brown has the ability to carry this offense if we can get him the ball 25 times a game. Plus, it helps our defense out. Run the ball more and you'll find that Culpepper will be fine.
