I am a First Sergeant in the Air Force and a die hard Dolphin's fan! My 3 favorite all time Dolphins are Don Shula, Dan Marino, and Larry Csonka. Well I get a call on Wednesday from one of my friends on base, one of the Airmen that work in his shop is the nephew of Larry Csonka! He asked if there was something I would like signed, as he was sending a couple of things himself. I jumped in my truck for lunch a ran home and grabbed my Csonka throwback jersey and got it to him. The nephew called me Thursday and said my Uncle Larry wants to know if you want it personalized to me... I said hell ya! I will post pics when I get it back. I have read some pretty cool posts on here how people have stumbled into some pretty cool oppertunities, thought I would share this one!

Tyndall AFB. I was just in San Antonio for the AETC Symposium, staying at the Hyatt on the Riverwalk. I had a blast!

That's cool. I wouldn't have gotten personalized unless it said something like "S.B. Champs" or "17-0", though. Putting a name on it decreases it's value significantly. Not that I'd wanna sell it, but it'd still be nice to know that I could if I wanted to.

MAN THAT IS AWESOME...I dont know if you guys up here remember a CB we had back in the day JB Brown...but a kid I grew up playing rec football with was his nephew and he got me into their hotel in 1993 when they played the Browns in Cleveland...Sadly the person I wanted to meet tore his achilies tendon that game and wasnt at the hotel after the game...But I did get football signed by the entire defense!!!

Ya, I hear ya. I am going to frame it though. I actually met Peyton Manning when I ran the A-10 Demo team at an air show if Fayetteville, AR. He was there for a celeb golf tourney the year before he won the SB. He signed a few of our zaps (team stickers). He is a really cool guy in person! Then my girlfriend got me an autographed pic of Peyton and Marino together. I will have a pretty cool collection in my office. The only thing that sucks is now I am going to have to throw another couple hundered for a nice Csonka throwback. I won't complain too much though!
