During PS, I was hoping AJ would have won the starting QB job and when he didn't win it, I was a bit upset. Once the season started, I was a guskeeter and supported him until this week. I'm not saying that I want him to sit (although I am curious as to what Sage really can give us as a starter for more than 1 regular season game) but I can't believe how many big plays we could have had but we didn't. There were 4 big throws that needed to be made that weren't by my count.
1. The deep pass over the middle to Chambers being covered by Quarles
2. The 3rd down pass to an open Booker that was thrown behind him.
3. The pass in the deep flat to a wide open Diamond.
4. A 15 yard pass to Heller that was overthrown.
What I saw out of Frerotte was a lot of passes with no touch. Even on some of his completions the passes were awful (see Chambers great catch). He obviously knows the system and where people should be but he's had some problems getting the ball to these people. Did I miss any other big plays?
