I say with a good draft,we have a fair shot at .500.

Think I am crazy?

Look at what the Dolphins did last year...

yea,1-15....not pretty

but we lost 6-7 games under 10 points, and some of those were very winable(thank you Scam Cameron:up:)

But,if you look at our up coming season on

http://www.miamidolphins.com/newsite/flash_content.asp

you'll see we're playing butter-ball teams...with the exception of a few.....

without the moves we made, basically if Scam was here and not Parcells, probably 3-13...

But with all the moves we made, and the potential draft we could have,we can have a .500 season:up:

So with that said, what do you think our season will be this year?

1:1-3:(

2:3-6:)

3:6-8:up:

4:It's too early:unsure:

It is still too early to make any predictions....we haven't had our draft or any preseason games. But looking at our schedule, I think 6-8 wins is reachable.

shouldnt the answer choices be changed on this poll?
If you want to vote for wins, theres 2 choices that could go under? Same thing with 6 wins. And shouldnt there be a choice for over 8 wins???

i think all of the 7 or 8 win predictions is laughable considering the fact that we were 1 and 15 last season. i mean come on guys!

with that said, after looking at the schedule...put me down for 4 or 5. max. and thats me being optimistic. realistically i see like 3.

5-6

They seldom are BLOWN out in games so certainly even last year they could have won 5-6 games and perhaps should have.

IM going with 5-6 wins...and after last season im happy with that. Lets just hope the injury bug doenst hit us

We have should have decipline, depth at defense and special teams that we did not have last year. Implementing a brand new system on both sides of the ball, new players and a head coach without alot of head coaching expereince are the negative attributes to worry about so 3-6 wins should be in the ball park.

It's looking like we will have a decent power running game to try and control the clock. That plus the improved special teams will keep us in a lot of games. With hopefully better coaching and fewer injuries we could realisticly win 6-8 games this year. Even with all the problems last year we were able to hang around. Yes, we were the worst team in the league last year, but I think some people here are exagerating the difference in talent between us and the average NFL team. We are still quite a way from being championship contenders, but I doubt we will be a laughing stock this year. I think our problem will come against teams that can score quickly and make us try to do the same. We are still too young and unproven at QB and WR to be confident in our ability to put points up quickly.

Im picking 7 wins for a few simple reasons:

1. There is no way possible our offense can be that bad...again.
2. I think our defense will surprise some people and we'll win a couple close ones.
3. Teams may take us lightly because of how poor we were last year.

Factor in Ronnie hopefully being healthy the whole year and I like our chances for a respectable (by our standards) season.

8-10, realistically.

-we will have a fairly easy schedule
-we've already improved through FA
-we will improve even more through the draft
-we were competitive in many of our games last year(just couldn't close under cameron)

i think we will have an outside shot at sneaking into the playoffs depending on how successful our draft is.

You will all think I'm smoking the funny stuff, but nine.
