game? I drove solo from Virginia to Miami overnight after getting off work late on the Saturday before the game. As i got closer to Miami that Sunday morning, the Atmosphere was absolutely ELECTRIFYING, cars on the side of highways, people hollering out car windows, cars, trucks, vans all decorated in Dolphins colors, windows painted, People waiving Dolphin Flags, Banners hanging everywhere, Wild Really Wild. After parking and walking towards the stadium, i headed to where there seemed to be alot of people gathering as though something was going on, as i got closer i noticed it was the players driving up in the cars, so i hung around and watched, then after a while a couple of Buses pulled up and lo and behold it was the Barffalo Bills, people were beating on the Bus, wouldnt let the Bus pass to go in Stadium, finally the police and security got people cleared and the Bus went on in to CHEERS OF BUFFALO SUCKS AND SCREW THE BILLS, it was awesome.
Then i went on in to watch the game, there were Fans wearing every kind of Dolphin gear would could imagine, I WAS IN FINHEAVEN AT THAT MOMENT!!
Then the game started and i wont go into detail about that, but i will say I EXPERIENCED THE HIGHEST OF HIGHS AND THE LOWEST OF LOWS ALL IN ONE DAY AT JOE ROBBIE STADIUM on Jan 17,1993.
I cant wait to Relive that Experience one Day with a BETTER ENDING!!!

I'm jealous of you. I wish I could have that oppertunity some day. Hell, I hope I have the oppertunity to just see a Dolphins' playoff game just on TV.

I remember being at the 1993 AFC Championship Game. We sucked. And some jerk was smoking a cigar the whole time. I got nauseous from either the smoke, OR LOSING AT HOME TO BUFFALO AGAIN!!!!

I was also at the 1986 AFC Championship. Last game we played in the OB. Another home loss to a division rival.

I was too young to make it to the 1982 game.

Blame the Oilers

I was there. Plenty of excitement and hope in the air. Big let down because the Bills controlled the game offensively. We couldn't stop Thurman Thomas. By the way, if the Bills didn't have a miracle comeback against the Oilers we would have been playing and probably beating the Oilers on the way to the Super Bowl.

I have been fortunate to attend every Dolphins home playoff game in the '80s and '90s.

I was at the AFC championship game in the Orange Bowl against the Steelers
(1984?). Marino just lit it up, I remember a beautiful TD pass to either Clayton or Duper. It was a great game, I had a blast.

I flew down with a friend. We drank 10¢ beers at a bar for the Dallas game after. Outside the stadium they were selling discounted $5 tee shirts that said "Dolphins - AFC champions". Oh well. That was my first live game!

Buffalo 29
Miami 10

Followed by Super Bowl 27
Dallas 52
Buffalo 17

Gee, we weren't TOO far from winning it all were we? LOL!
