I enjoyed a nice day hiking today. Had a great time.
Did not bother to watch one minute of the game. And I will not watch again this season. I watched dolphins since Bob Griese. Until the organization put a quality product on the field, plus competent coaches....I might not watch dolphins again. Life is too short.

I watched on a stream in which advertisements were taking up half the screen. I tuned in on the Jones fumble recovery TD... you'd think that it would have given me hope that we could actually make a game of it. Nope, still knew we were gonna get blown out so I just left it on and barely listened while I passed out because I had a headache.

I will watch whatever games I can the rest of the season. It's like a train wreck. Watching the offense, defense and special teams play their worst is something I feel I must endure. I am very critical of the team this year and continuing to watch only proves game by game that what I'm seeing is total crap. Everything we do on all sides of the ball is slow and predictable. Watching it only confirms my beliefs. That's not saying much and I don't feel the need to be right, but it's kind of what I've always done with our teams.
I'm looking for one thing this year from last and that is progression. We don't have it, and just because Tannehill is not here, doesn't mean we cant have it. The defense is not progressing, special teams is regressing. The offense is a slow and predictable.
Lastly, the coach is showing no signs of progression. Bring something Gase. He can't keep saying it's all the player's fault, he has to tailor plays for what he has.
I feel like I have to keep watching so I can see some glimmer of progression by the end of the season or it really is a lost season on all accounts.

There are 8,760 hours in a year. 48 hours are spent watching Dolphins football. That’s 0.005% of the year spent watching the games. I know some may say life is too short to watch the product put on the field, but I love the sport too much to consider that a major sacrifice of time

I stopped last week. Spent the day with my wife. I had it on for the first qtr while we put up Christmas decorations but left after that. I thought it would be harder than this but it's not. This team isn't even competitive. I can tolerate losing but not showing up? No thanks. Until this regime is gone I won't go out of my way to watch. I will say this, though. The easiest bet in sports is betting against the phins in the first half.

did you add posting on this board? that bumps it up to 5% of my life lol

I stopped watching two or three weeks ago. I've been a fan since 1975 and am paying for the NFL ticket on Direct TV, but I'm about at the end. Not because this season sucks, but because I feel any hope for a turnaround is lost. I have lost faith in Gase, and I don't see the point in investing my time in a lost cause. Yesterday I went to the movies, next Sunday I already have plans for an activity with the GF that she really wants me to join her for. I almost didn't order the NFL Ticket this year because I had no faith in Cutler, but I thought Gase would find a way to make them a hard-fighting 8-8 and we'd say yeah it was rough without Tannehill, but everyone else stepped up and we stole a few and it was a fun season despite the bumps. On top of that the NFL isn't putting out a particularly watchable product anyway- we all know about the officiating, and that is in most games- so bottom line I just don't enjoy it. When the pleasure you always found in activity is lost, you have to begin to ask yourself whether or not that activity is worth it anymore. All of our answers to that question may vary, and that's fine- the beauty of individual choice- but for me- my time is limited. Can't spend it watching garbage I don't enjoy.

Add in the other board and there's another 70%

I'll keep watching and reading. If Gase or whomever turns it around, finally, I'll remember these dismal decades.

You really want change? Easy!

If you don't have tickets to the home games, then you're set.....just don't go.

If you have tickets to any remaining home games, individual or season, you don't show up. Let the empty seat send the ownership the message. This team shouldn't be tolerated. Let's not mince our message - stay out of the stadium!!
