i just finished reading my dolphin digest for the second time (a must have for any die hard fin fan) and noticed that we have 29 rookies on the 90 man roster.i can see all 8 draft picks being kept along with some undrafted guys such as larsen, Johnson, and two long shots in jensen and darkwa.thats12 rookies that i think make it or go to the p.s
oh i almost left out gator hoskins.that makes another rookie

James, Landry, Turner, Aikens, Tripp and Lynch are locks IMO. I think Hazel will probably make it, but he faces a battle at a very deep position. Fede I think is probably assured a spot, especially after Jordan's suspension.

There are a few undrafted rookies that have a good shot. I would say Tyler Larsen, Anthony Johnson, Garrison Smith and Harold Hoskins all have decent chances of making the 53. I don't think all of them will, but possibly 2 of those guys could find their way on. Should a QB injury happen, Jensen could have a shot.

I agree with Nublar, I think Hoskins and Darkwa stick as well. Fede could turn out to be a real diamond in the rough and makes the PS.

think Hoskins sticks, and the ecu homer in me derrell Johnson finds a way. but dang didn't realize that dolphins digest was still around. I subscribed back in 80's and early 90s

If I had to guess...

Roster 53 includes:
JuWan James
Jarvis Landry
Turner
Jordan Tripp
Lynch
Anthony Johnson
Tyler Larsen
Waiver wire

Practice Squad:
Walt Aikens
Garrison Smith
Hazel
Fede
Other teams cuts

No way Aikens is on the PS.

I view A Johnson as more of a practice squad player. He would have to blow Francis out of the water to overcome the red flags.

Miami may have to try and hide A Johnson and not play him that much in the preseason in order for him to clear waivers to get him on the practice squad. I just don't see him getting past a DT needy team.

With big Paul traded and his replacement known not to be a run stopper if Johnson shows decent ability in that area then we would be crazy to expose him. While I agree with moving Msi to the middle Msi has rarley stayed healthy even on the outside for a full season so I would not count on him taking a big banging in the middle and staying in the game all this year especially with no run stuffer to protect him. We need a decent backup middle linebacker and we have no proven replacements,

I had it also but the news in there was always a little dated by the time you got it if you follow the day to day Dolphin news like most here do now.
