How many sacks has Jake Long given up this season?

20 sacks have been giving up b Long this season. Over rated. bust. good pick parcells and co., should have picked robert gallery a few years back. Jake long will be the end of this franchise. We r relocating to vegas or LA.

a but n all seriousness. He has been great this year in pass protect and really played a key role in thre wildcat.
 
Even more impressive is the 11.5 sacks Jason Peters is credited with, along with the 106.5 lost yards.

Congrats on the Pro Bowl bid, jackass.

WOW. He didnt even play the first week or two and he still gave up that many?! Unbelievable that hes a pro bowler. What happened to him? He was so good a year ago.
 
Heres the sacks allowed of some of our other linemen. Smiley isn't on the list, they must not list guys on IR.

Carey - 3.5
Satele - 4.5 (only 2 in all 16 games last year)
Alleman - 1.5
Ndukwe - 1
 
Whenever a Quarterback is having a career year you can credit that to the offensive line along with the smart play of the Quarterback.
 
Unfortunately OL make the pro bowl on rep alone. Even the "great" Joe Thomas has struggled this year. Jake will make plenty of pro bowls in years to come, but you usually have to build a rep in a non stat position.

not sure what Smiley has allowed,but if i'm understanding this right...including Jake Long...our OL has given up what 13 sacks on the season? do i have that right?

a center giving up that many is ridiculous. that says a lot about our guard play and their lack of expirence as well .
