"The dolphins need Ricky Williams to be the New Orleans Ricky Williams". IN the highlights alone they said it twice.

I was working til 930 and then went to a party because I dont get NFL Network anyway but are they serious? Like it gets redundant when they say the Ricky Williams from 2002/2003 but at least they are correct. What kind of analysis is that saying he needs to be the innjured, out of shape garabeg he was in NO but not the All Pro best running back in football like he was in Miami in 02/03.

totally agree...Ricky was terrible in his tenure with the Saints...it wasnt till the 2002 season that he looked like the heisman trophy winer that he was...all in all im proud of Ricky to overcome all the BS he has put us through and really become a player that everyone in the locker room can look up to. Well, we just have to consider the source. NFL network didn't exactly break the bank in getting quality announcers for their games. Matt Millen??? And I have no clue who the other guy was. Matt is obviously as clueless as an announcer as he was as a GM. Felt like somewhere in-between a high school and small college game announcing team.

ESPN and NFL network really care and focus on the the popluar teams. Patriots & Brady, Vikings and Favre. The only interest they have in the Dolphins is about the Wildcat offense unfortunately. Millen as a color analyst is not the same now as when he was younger before the Lions GM job...but does not annoy me as much as Rich Eisen continues to do so.

Marshall Faulk started that "...they need hime to be the NO Ricky" crap in the pregame and the moron announcers repeated it about 25 times. I got more pissed every time I heard it. Its bad enough to have one moron spouting erroneous crap but it's way worse to have a gaggle of morons repeating it as gospel. I should have muted the game, I would have enjoyed it a lot more!
