Over the 30 years I have been a Fin fan I can't remember one waiver wire pick up that had a positive impact on this team.
Do you recall any?

Brandon London made a key third down catch in Week 17 of 2008 against the Jets, helping to propel the Dolphins into the playoffs. I do believe we got him off waivers.

It's surprising (and sad) how well I remember that play considering how little London did otherwise.

EDIT: Greg Camarillo was also a waiver claim and he definitely played some minutes for us. Who can forget his game-winner to avoid 0-16 or his infamous "butt-catch?"

Woody Bennett.

The big fatty OL dude... Back in Rickie William's era.

Now I remember.. Jamie Nails

I'm not sure exactly when they came in, but Welker was a big one cut from the Chargers I believe. Camarillo came out of nowhere.

If a waiver wire guy makes a special teams tackle... he made an impact. If he makes your starters work harder, he made an impact...
Not every player is a star, but even mediocre players can make you a better team.

Was just going to say. If you want to go way back to the undefeated team, Langer, Kuenchenburg and others were cuts that were picked up.

Are you thinking of the guy they called "Butterball"? He was Jorvorskie Lane and he played a bit in 2012, just after RW's time I think. Is that the guy? He didn't do much IIRC but it was funny when he got outside and CB's tried to tackle him.
