How would everyone feel if the worst case happened, the Dolphins win out and get no help missing the playoffs at 10-6. Personally I would be upset but it wouldn't be the end of the world. Just think about how our season has gone,
1. One of if not the toughest schedule in the league
2. We loose our starting quarterback and running back and have to abandon the wildcat as our primary big play offense
3. Starting the season 0-3

I think we have made a lot of strides this year, Henne has proven that he can be a franchise type quarterback and that we don't NEED the wildcat to make big plays. The offensive line has finally gelled and has played very well recently. Even our defense has come together the last couple weeks. Sure missing the playoffs at 10-6 would really hurt for this year but look at how close we are to becoming a dominant team. 1 more year drafting and maybe a key FA pickup or two and It's gonna happen

Two years ago, the Dolphins were finishing up a one win season, with one of the most inept brain dead jackasses ever to stand foot on an NFL sideline as Head Coach.

If they go 10-6 and miss the playoffs, that would certainly be dissappointing considering how respectably Miami played down the stretch. When it's all said and done however, it's a damn good season, and something to further build on.

Not me. If they go 10-6, then they have exceeded my expectations for this year. They will have won all of their December games two years in a row. I would prefer the playoffs, but I will not be upset.

I'd be bummed for a bit but I would instantly excited for next year. Even if we go 9-7 (I hope we don't though) the future looks pretty darn bright. The patriots are beginning to falter and the new leader of the AFC East is beginning to rise up. If anything just the realization the we have something in Chad Henne is enough for me to be happy with this season. Although I would much rather roll into the playoffs and surprise a few teams!

I'd be disappointed.. however we only hae ourselves to pint the finger at.
Indy, New Orleans and the Bills were games we should have won.

That Said..... very impressive season.

And on that note... I think this is the year that at least one team will make it through the season without a loss. I can't see Indy resting players if the Saints aren't and likewise the other way either.

You noted tht we lost oue startin QB an RB, don't forget: CB, NT an probably C
Yea I didn't even mention Allen, Ferguson and Groves. The injury bug has been unkind this year. But the way this team has fought to overcome this has been awsome and I see nothing but great years ahead

...and a bunch of Vontae Davis interceptions for years to come!

I cant see the jaguars beating the colts and/or the patriots. But the ravens and pats may win out. It would suck, but I would be very excited for the future of the dolphins because I believe we have a future pro bowler at qb, who would be 10-3 as a starter in his first year. not bad.

In some ways it would be easier on my heart. If we win out and don't make the playoffs it would mean I wouldn't have to be upset and angry for the first few days of the following week.

I look at it this way, this isn't a team of destiny heading for a superbowl win. It isn't gonna happen. If we make the playoffs we will have to suffer through another defeat. I would like for the bills game to be the last game I have to see my beloved fins lose. That being said I will be pulling like heck for whoever the ravens or pats are playing, but the truth of the matter is it will be better for me and the people that have to put up with me to not have to see another fins loss.

I would like to start the offseason on a good note, 5 game winning streak, signing Wilfork, getting a#1 WR like Boldin, getting a saftey, getting another WR, getting a DT and another WR, and a few LBs......and a WR......maybe a TE.

It would only bug me if another team won the their division with a 9-7 record like the Cards did last year. It just seems wrong that you can have a better record then someone but they make it to the dance because they have 6 cake walk divisional games and couldn't win many others!
