How many were actually proud and/or surprised by Dauntes performance. I mean regardless of the loss, I'm glad to see him actually scramble away from the rushers and throwing the ball away before he get's sacked. He even got away from a couple of rushers and completed passes. I saw him moving alot(a good sign) that his knee might be comming back. Also I saw him playing with confidence, even though our O-line is terrible He made some plays and good decisions. He actually had the confidence to bomb the ball a couple of times.

Besides Daunte I was pretty surprisde by Will Allen, the kid was everywere, but he did give up 2 big plays. C'mon though he's playing with heart as well. What I didn't like was all the dropped passes . . . Especially that last pass Booker dropped. :fire: I was dissapointed that Wes didn't break the record, but next game it'll deff. happen.

the last drive surprised me for sure...the secret seems to be the no huddle...when we go no huddle the offense goes

I'm proud of Daunte today. I saw improvement from him today. Yes he was not perfect and held on to the ball a little too long a couple of times, but overall he seemed a lot more confident. I saw him stepping into his throws and stepping up into the pocket and delivering some great throws. In my opinion the rest of the offense let him down with some drops and bad protection. But he played great, especially on that last drive. Glad to see him get better game to game.

it seems we are only doing well on Offense when we feel pressured to crap out a touchdown or two. Why cant we feel pressured to do that throughout the game.....it just seems like the offense didnt really care about getting a firstdown and just asked our defense to win the game...What i really like is the no interceptions..but maybe because Daunte is getting sacked before he can make a decision *shruggs*.

Yeah same here, I was really surprised despite the loss, Culpepper showed that he could stay in there regardless of the situation. That's pretty good

I really wish the O-line would block better. I mean I saw Ronnie making better blocks and protecting than the O-line.:(

Sorry but that last drive was a result of the Texans D softening up into a semi-prevent defense. Culpepper is not good right now. I'm trying to be nice here because he's our QB. But he's holding onto the ball too long and is making inaccurate throws at key times in the game. I know, he's also making some good throws; however we need him to be accurate when we need that 1st down.

OK Daunte was better this week than he has been, but he is still a long way away. Many of those sacks were from him holding the ball way to long. If you cant find someone open take off and run, or throw it away (out of bounda, not to the other team ...)

Good improvement, but we need more from him. He is supposed to be a superstar gamebreaker and playmaker. Thats why he is here and Gus is gone. Still, his improvement, as little as it was, was the only bright spot today.

Still hanging on way too long on a lot of plays. ... Surprised that he scrambled away or didn't throw a pick? Yes. But that shows you where our mindset is, I think. We should expect that, not be surprised by it.

we could go 0-16 and id still root for this team, but its just awful how anyone can still find a silver lining in this game. WE lost to arguably the worst team in the NFL and people are saying "Daunte looked better" and "our D played OK". We flat out suck, and some people need to come to grips with reality with that.

well its my opinion that there are those who believe anyone can beat anyone on any given game. then there are those who really believe in power rankings. Yea we lost to the worst defense and pretty bad offense in the league..that im not arguing, and im embarrased. But in order for the loss to not change me into a mean s.o.b the whole week I, personally, need to look at the silver lining.

DC, and the rest of the offense right now is very OFFENSIVE! How did they reward Jason Taylor and the rest of the ballz out Defense, when they gave them the ball damn near in Red Zone? A field goal, r u freaking kidding me! Field goals points are better than no points, but they'll never win games or championships (unless your a Patties).

C'mon. They were playing against a mediocre D that was playing soft to prevent the big play. Miami didn't do anything for three quarters. Mularkey has to change the gameplan. Give the ball to Ronnie. The kid is a gamer.

Yes it was a meidocre D. YES they were in PREVENT, making it harder for Pep to find an open man. The reason why we moved the ball is simple. Pep had TIME to throw the ball. When you are in a prevent defense, I hope people realize this, CB's replace LB's, meaning it would be harder for Pep to find people open, and forced him to thread nearly perfect throws into coverage. He found recievers. The O-line is the problem, please realize this.

Reality Check

First let me start by saying that I live and die w/the Finz; however, I must say at this point our season is over and we need to start looking at players who are going to help next year.

Our O-Line is the worst in the league and DC has the sacks to prove it! I say we need a O-line over haul and maybe we can get to the next level. Should we trade thomas or JT??? I don't think so, but if we are going to goto the next level we may need to part w/some of our fan favorite players. We should be tearing up defenses.....look at manning and the colts back when they had EJ. Our skill players are as good or better put we can't beat the TExans??? Come on...........Mularkey sucks the big one! Get rid of his sorry ***!

This just in.....This just in....WE SUCK

OUT

we really need road graders....we have none, a hutchinson on any side would work wonders
