How Motivated Will The Bengals Be Against The Ravens?

Better question is how much San Diego will be motivated...they play Kansas City, who has nothing left to play for. If Miami and Baltimore both win, they basically hold the key to who gets in for us. They win, Miami's in. They lose, Baltimore's in.

i didn't see him doing that vs the pats i guess he started it again yesterday??? they were definitely getting the jump on something but damn i see some centers bob their head all the time...there's got to be more to it

I have been watching for this that last few weeks. He was not doing it last week, but noticed him doing it again this week. It is really strange. Between this and to "go-go" conspiracy it is really annoying to watch and be able to predict the snap and type of play from 2,000 miles away on my couch in Southern Utah!

I really wonder if the head bob is used on the road on loud circumstances to help eliminate a botched snap. Strange.

I do think that San Diego will be motivated to play well against a division rival, at home to end the season with a winning record. I think they know they are most likely out of the playoffs already and will know for sure before kickoff, but they do have some motivation to win this game.

It drives me insane that our coaching staff doesn't see it or just doesn't care.

There was ONE game where we kept forcing the opposing defense offsides. ONE. That was the game Mike Pouncey missed.

Incidentally, people are talking about the Bengals motivation, but how about the Chiefs. They are LOCKED IN to the 5th seed.

If Andy Reid plays Jamaal Charles in that game, he's a ****ing moron. An absolute moron. And while I question a lot of things about Andy Reid (worst clock management ever), I don't think he's that stupid.

I can definitely see the Chargers sweeping the Chiefs. That game's in San Diego.

Absolutely. Charles might get a snap or two so his mind stays in it but that'll be about it. Three years ago Reid was in a similar situation and rested a bunch of his key guys. Chargers playing for pride/playoffs while chiefs playing to not get hurt.

Add Cincy not wanting to play Balt again and wants to build momentum into the playoffs.

I think they're going to have a let down game. They played like gangbusters when their season was on the line. Now the real pressure is off. They might still win, but it'll be a close, and for us, a very uncomfortable game to watch.

But I think we give too much credit to the Ravens. They need a game of miracles, haos and luck to beat the Adrian Peterson-less Vikings. They needed 6 FG's from their kicker to barely beat the Lions. And they got destroyed by the Patriots. Pfffffff.

They have an outside shot at the #2 seed and are undefeated at home. But if they see that the Patriots are destroying the Bills by halftime, I think they will call it an afternoon.

The better chance may lie with the Chargers, knowing that the Chiefs have nothing to play for.

This is all assuming that the Dolphins win. But now I am no longer sure that the Dolphins can stop the Jets rushing game.

Very Motivated, the pats don't play till 4pm, so the bengals won't know the outcome of patriots game until after theirs ends. They'd prefer knocking the ravens out too as them losing to the ravens will get the ravens back in and most likely be a rematch in the playoffs which doesn't bode too well for division rivals playing each other three times in a season.

Simply put. Miami just needs to do their job this time and fins should have a decent chance of getting in the playoffs. But sometimes it's asking for a lot for the fins to just got a wn out of a team or teams they should beat, so we shall see. Hopefully they learned from the last game and make adjustments and better gameplan coming in and get their ass in gear against the jets.

A lot of times on the road a guard will look back at the qb and then tap the center when he is ready for the ball to be snapped...to overcome crowd noise...but I didn't think it was that damn loud...I guess someone who was there could tell us more

Not so fast. Dolphins have beaten the Bengals the last 3 meetings under Marv Lewis including this year and last year in Cincy. Not a good matchup for them.

just like we dont want to see the Bills. its a game of matchups they say.

Jobs are on the line, regardless of how good a team is or isnt. They are all being told they are being evaluated for next year. dont put anything on film that makes you ugly, especially if your making bank.
