You are correct. Trading Feeley now helps save us some money, and we are definitely going to release Howard come the offseason, so we will have more money there. Unlike previous years, we are going to be in GREAT shape for Free Agency.

With that point in mind, I don't see us signing a huge amount of high priced free agents, just a few. Saban and Mueller will most likely want to keep that high number every offseason instead of what Wanny did, and limited us in future years. Saban mostly wants to build this team through the draft.

all i want is Julian peterson Bentley Hutchinson and Clements or woodson that is all i will be sooo happy

Peterson was coached by Saban and i think HEs fed up of San FRan, HUtch and Bentley can come here if the money is good and Clements i say he gets FRanchised but Woodson would wanna come home to Miami
 
Steve Hutchinson would be great but he's gonna be franchised by Seattle since they finally signed Walter Jones to a long term deal & they can't franchise Alexander.

LaCharles Bentley would be perfect but I think NO will franchise him too, instead of tagging Darren Howard again because they still have Charles Grant & Will Smith.

The most likely free agent LT to make it to free agency is Jeff Backus though I'm not sure that we need to go that route because McIntosh has played pretty well, probably the best of our olineman. We need a new center & RG that are disciplined & can run block but I don't see anyone like that who is a free agent, maybe steroid C Jeff Mitchell. Carey, IMO, is fine at RT.

Clements will be tagged, Buffalo doesn't have any other significant free agents & he's a key part to their D & probably their best defensive player.
 
woodson would cost too much and he did break his leg this past weekend so that might cause some problems as well.

first of all we'd be lucky to get one of them because most will re-sign. Just because Peterson played for Saban doesn't mean he wants to join the Fins. If Bentley and or Hutch are FA atleast 10 teams would put in serious offers. Same thing with Woodson as I said about Peterson. One of those reasons maybe true, but not all of them.
 
actually it was said we could have 25 + mil, without losing any major players. Just by making some minor moves and restructuring some contracts.
