extrapolating from this, and far more telling, will be if philbin does not advocate signing flynn to ross and ireland. to me that would speak volumes that philbin is not willing to hitch his success to flynn's wagon. if i'm ireland and ross, and my new coach is telling me flynn's the guy, knowing that philbin's job is on the line, i pay close attention.

With all of this said, if Philbin brings in Flynn and he sucks - they should both be gone along with Ireland after year one. We should have no patience with that situation. If Philbin brings in Flynn for a lot of $$ and he isn't any good, that should cost all parties involved their jobs.

sorry, my bad, ive seen so many people on here wanting flynn, and i thought your name was one of them. i apologize.

either way, i understand you dont want moore, but unfortunately their is no real legit upgrade. we cant get luck, mannings health is a huge question mark, although ill take him if healthy obviousy, and everyone else is a question mark, or may not even be ready to start right away.

griffin will be very expensive to obtain, and he may not even be ready right away, weeden can be an ok fit as scouts say he looks pro ready, but he would need to step in right away and contribute because hes already 28.

we all want elite qbs, but the truth of the matter is, being their are only 4 or 5 elite qbs in the nfl, most teams dont have an elite qb, and if their is no legit upgrade, we cant just invent one.

we all wish we got luck, but sadly we wont, and i pray manning is healthy, but that seems to be a question mark now, but if so, get him at all costs.

His play will have no affect on Flynn, what will affect Flynn lots of money like anybody else
 
Maybe the reason he's dropping the passes is because he's not use to getting good balls thrown to him accurately all the time !

I mean seriously,some of you guys are just absolutely ridiculous ! I likw Matt Moore,he was a descent back up type QB,and I think Henne would make a good back-up,but Im sick and tired of playing a back up at the starting QB job !! This team hasnt taken a real good shot at a great QB in for-ever,and its time to take a chance on Flynn and try to get the team to the next level ! Im sick and tired of being a 3rd,yes a 3rd tier middle of the road,7-9, 8-8 team,and I would dam sure rather take a shot and fail at getting someone who could make a franchise QB and upgrade the Dolphins to the next level than to sit on my thumbs and do nothing !

I wanted Brees years ago when he was available,we passed and the Saints went to a top team instead of us. Like I said,I like Moore as far as a nice guy,a descent back-up type guy,but he was let go in Carolina because the didnt feel he was starting material so he didnt make it there,we pick him up to back up Henne,who by the way in all his games he has started hasnt had a 6 touchdown game some of you keep harping on Flynn for having,but at least Flynn had it !!!

Some of you just keep wanting to stand pat and go after guys we know are 2nd tier QB's like Jason Cambell,Kyle Orton,Ive even heard some mention Tim Tebow ! How stupid !! A guy who completes 46% of his passes and only won most of the games because of stupid plays from the other team,including us,or bad defense played against him in the last few minuttes.And Orton,who by the way I wanted nothing to do with has been around the league and done nothing,yet miraculously some think he was going to come to Miami and turn into Christ !

Time to step it up,take a shot on someone with LONG TERM potential and who may be a franchise QB instead of going after all these retreads around the league !!!

Not sure why you are calling me out on this!!!!! If it hits your hands, catch the damn ball……..that’s it, that’s your job! I understand that if the QB can lay it out there perfectly that it’s easier to catch, and if that’s the case a really good QB can make an average receiver look great. But take an average or below QB throwing to an elite receiver, and that receiver can make that average OB look like a MVP! Brandon need’s to produce, no matter who’s throwing him the ball. Seems like a lot of lip service, that’s all!

IMO moore should get his fair shot at competing for the job next year,matter of fact i think henne should get his fair shot to ,because imo as was said ,.perhaps alot has to be put on the past coaches not willing to let him just let it fly rather than play not to loose. maybe that was the case with what was going on i dont know for sure,but if manning isnt going to play here than imo flynn ,moore and henne would be the 3 QBs to compete for the job ,but if philbin dosent think flynn is the answer , than we need to go all in on getting RG3.
