Now it has been one of the hottest and muggiest summers in FLA this year and with the training and conditioning program coupled with how hard Coach practices our boys it will have an effect on our Dolphins

How much does this help us will we be the best conditioned team coming into the year?

Or will it hurt and our guys will be worn down because of it?

I personally think we will be chomping at the bit to get to ATL i know it is indoors but we will be so ready and conditioned i think training in this weather helps alot.

I grew up in south fl and played soccer my whole life and i can say that the heat will make their condititioning superior than most others teams because their bodies will have went through hell

i know from experience...

I know they say its helps give us in edge in early sept games, But dude I have lived my whole life in SoFla, I am still not used to this heat.

Then again I guess my friends call me Chubby for a reason :)

I remember the home home opener a few seasons ago against the Broncos....all of their guys were cramping up and having to get IVs and stuff...it was nuts! Kinda liked the advantage.

What sucks is that the first game is on a dome, the 2nd game is at night(Still muggy as hell, but still), but yea, its been THE hottest summer since I've been down here. Hopefully it helps. I think they guys from up north will have a hard time adjusting though

If only they could make it Lambeau-cold in the bubble at NSU. Then we'd be covered for both extremes.

Problem is it's been hot as heck for most of the country, a lot more 'florida-like' than normal so many teams are at least slightly more prepared for it. 105 in Seattle yesterday?!

I'm glad the pats don't head down tol December. It's been cooler than normal in NE.

The thing is that 105 in Seattle is more pleasent than 90 in Miami. The humidity is up by the roofs. I cant go outside before 7PM, and later than 8AM. This had never happened before down here.

I think the conditioning in the hellish conditions help. Look at all the professional athletes coming out of Florida. California used to be the bigest hot bed for tallent, but FLA is catching up.

The conditioning could only be more freakish if we had andes-grade elevation in addition to the heat and humidity.

Prior to the bubble, yes. Now I am not so sure.

I think it helps. It's one thing to practice in the heat, it's another thing entirely to be able to perform in extreme heat + crippling humidity. Born and raised in Florida, spent 23 of my 27 years on this Earth in this state. I'll never get used to this weather.
