If you have NFL game rewind watch the play at 11:00 in the 3rd quarter cameron wake throws the RT about 2 yards in the air. i dont know how to get the video clip and it ended up being a 4 yd completion. but funny to watch

The guy is an absolute freak of nature and one of the most underrated players in all of sports. He lives in the backfield and if he played on a team that got more national media attention he'd be renowned as one of the best defensive players in the league... Which he is.

If I had to choose one pass rusher to come in, for one key play to define a franchise, as a pure pass rusher I would take Cam Wake over JT. Said it last year and still believe it. ffs the guy is doing this at 32

He still needs a good speech to get him to the next level.

If they actually called holding penalties like they should Cam would already have 15sacks this season. Tricky tack stuff aside I see people with their hands on his numbers over and over. Oh, and not the numbers in the front. These OL are hugging him, arm barring him, and more yet he keeps kicking their ass. If JJ Watt wasn't such a monster this year Wake would be in early talks for defensive player of the year.

They pulled him down by the shoulder pads several times yesterday...terrible non-calls. Chicago didn't commit a penalty until the 3rd quarter...terrible job by the refs yesterday.

Yea they hold him a lot. Too much. If you watch him against other teams he doesn't get the calls. He's a true professional in that he never complains about the non calls.

This is the 2nd year in a row though that he had a monster week 1 then disappeared for a month. But dude is a beast

That was amazing. I do believe we ought to keep Wake around for a while.

keep him around? you keep him around til the day he retires then you start to measure him for one of those blue Jackets.

It sure seemed like the ref was pretty excited to award them that long pass interference too, it was oddly enthusiastic.

A beast indeed lmfao. I wish he would be more consistent and not disappear in some games.
